I am waiting of so many people to come back to me with answers at work I have decided to call in here.
been daydreaming of the back pay - it must be about 6 thousand there are 4 and a half years of over a thousand pounds and then increments plus overtime etc.
I wants it precious. I would split it to three, get a car, finish the other house and pay off some debt.
Just hope its a good whack. Even if its a steak and a pint it would be marvellous.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Month 30, day 18 Oh indeed briz, they took 17 quids worth of mine last night and things shall be relisted along with the newly photographed wares. Some items are listed at a speculative high price, and the price is dropped slightly on each relisting.
Last night I was productive, I cleaned the kitchen, did paper logs, lit the fire (to dry washing and heat water, windows were open and it was one shull of coal only- and its way cheaper than tumble drying and immersion heaters) collected some ebay and photographed it - packed the ebay which had paid ready to post, and I am pleased I have paid my aqua card minimum and a bill for this month is now crossed off the list. ( I pay more than this but make sure I cover all minimums first) photographed about ten new lots of ebay and also played with DS.
11 days to payday. 11 days 601 quid to month 29! (it will be done then!) Will be interesting to see if I can continue with the less than 30 day months. I am hoping with having a little extra money this month I can. I will need to tax the car as well - sigh but this can be done without the bother of an MOT I hope - which is due next month and is when I need to be rid of the car.
But that as they say is the next hurdle.
Todays plans include that old favourite ironing, clearing out drawers and more of the paper shredding!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Day 18, Part 2. I forgot to say last night I sent off for some freebies including some packets of seeds for bee friendly plans. I love bees I do. Must buzz by Piqs diary and mention them, she could pop them in a pot with a bee on!
No word as yet on the salary backpay. Therefore battle shall commence on the morrow. The line shall be drawn there shall be news from the mark and all that. Pfft!
I didnt manage any surveys though, which is disappointing.
Tonight with wine I shall survey and I may start writing my ebay descriptions so I can copy and paste at prime evening times.
I am pondering any other money making schemes and scams I could do- I am daydreaming of being debt free, and looking at my snowball and wishing myself to thirty months time. I shouldnt as in thirty months my little lad will be 5 and a half!
Then we can do disney though, how wonderful.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
:DMonth 30, Day 19. Enjoying my diet of cereal and fruit at work and a meal at home. Not really losing weight but definately feel much better. I am still fat, but at least I am fitter. Last nights offering was batch cooked coq au cidre and it was lovely. Mashed potato with carrot and some crunchy green beans.
Ten ebay items listings were partly created. The fire was lit as it was blowing a hoolie, and I hoovered and cleaned both bathrooms. I didnt do any surveys as I simply ran out of time, will try and do those first tonight when I go to do the remaining ebay listings.
Dh is potty training DS today, who is fond of his nappies. We have stickers and incentives of special magic milkshake straws and the chance to use the phone to tell mammy if he manages a poo in potty. You know you are a mum when you look forward to celebratory pooh calls. :rotfl:Ten days to month 29!
Month 29 and its magical properties of really being on the journey, feeling like I am part of something special and being really engaged in life style changes which were tough but are now a way of life.:A I love the feeling of accomplishment when I pay my bills. I open all my post - I sell all my old stuff and I get a sense of acheivement with batchcooking and budgeting.
I am so pleased its Friday, I can not only spend quality family time with the mad lot but I can do some work on the other house and have some wine.
Have broached the issue with the union and I am waiting for them to come back to me and help me with my greivance. I am also chasing my time off in lieu issue, as I am owed around 4 days!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Let battle commence. The union have contacted HR who have blithely ignored the communication. This was their last chance.
Clockwatching and needing inspiration.Trying to shift that debt!0
