I bet it was the Whitt Moor (J E James) roundabout - DS's nemesis, that one!

Have decluttered mammogram; bought more 'velvet' coathangers, a new lint roller refill and a posh biro. And done a wee shop at Morries *kerching*

    My life so rocks :rotfl:

I spent 2.5 hours in DS1's room this morning. I filled 2 bin bags of sweet/chocolate/biscuit wrappers. I have reclaimed 24 pairs of socks that were under the bed. Every surface has been dusted. The 3 windows have been cleaned with a vinegar solution. I've stripped the bed. Hoovered his mattress on both sides. I've gone through his wardrobe and drawers and charity shopped anything he hasn't worn in the last year.

DH took me out to lunch to reward me for my efforts. We got new pegs in Morr1sons.

DS2's room is planned for Saturday. It's going to be another long session.

I'm going to P1lates soon. I need to punish myself a little more!

baking cupboard emptied and refilled with storage tubs and cereal. messy things placed safely on the top shelf of the larder unit. Half a binbag filled with dry crunchy dried fruit and other inedible stuff.. plus some stuff with June 2007 dates on.. 6 years past its date I don't think it is going to be eaten do you???

I almost killed myself cleaning the baking cupboard.. I then cleaned the table and chairs and place mats and then swept the kitchen.. I think I need to be miserable more often!

I am now officially on summer flying time. This means I shall be mainly in my garden or next door's or in a school exam room. Flying shall be minimal for the foreseeable future. Not even going to try to fight it this year or catch up :p

List is up for those of you beavering away. I'm off to watch Dallas with DS2 now.

  • Evening flyfriends

I've been fluttering; mainly washing, cooking, S&Sing and basic tidying, along with loads of work-related stuff. I have been battling against more HMRC & DWP related f&ckwittery and I suspect tomorrow will be much of the same.

On the bright side, I bumped into a former colleague who may very well be a great contact for the new business... and she is helping me with a personal family history thing - thanks Ms T :A

    Attention bird watchers
We have a small grey bird that keeps tapping on my boys' window. It flies with a friend who taps on the bathroom one. It is driving us mad. Any solutions gratefully accepted.

 _pale_ I am afraid of birds and if this happened in my house I would be bricking it
OH still not back from the dentist and he'll be getting a flea in his ear when do does return. Sat here contemplating sticking pins in his childhood stuffed monkey in the jaw area - revenge is sweet :rotfl:

Me too. Mine are 16 and nearly 19 and I remember those precious times feeding and cuddling and watching them when they fell asleep with their little mouths open and still sucking and then just staring at them (or falling asleep myself)

    I am so perimenopausal
