I have washed my mattress cover (no choice - grr at AF) - the sky was blue when I put it in - now raining GRRR

still *ever the Pollyanna* as, during the night I washed towels & dusters, microfibre cloths and the bathmat (two loads) I now don't feel so wasteful at having run them through the TD (for fluffyness;)) - all on cheap rate mind!

Mum & dad had to curtail their Cotswold break - mum is still not right and I missed the text asking me to do her shopping:( - have now phoned her. I have to go to Morrisons (twice) later anyway so it won't be a problem! (DD's on shift)

Morning all, not a productive evening yesterday. Everyone ended up in bed before 8pm.... mind everyone feels better this morning for it.

Need to get ebay stuff wrapped and sent today then DD has a parents night thing tonight as well as DS1 having football.

Right best see what I can get done before then. OH did leave the bin down this morning so one less thing to worry about.

Good morning everyone. I'm struggling for motivation today as might not be a very productive and I will be playing catch up over the weekend.

So far today I have phoned the manufacturer regarding getting the wm sorted, the engineer is coming out on Wednesday so won't get any washing done until after then. I have had to pay £61 but works out cheaper than the £105 that is could have cost and I now have cover until mid 2014.

My initial plan of action for today is that I'm going to tackle the bedrooms:

Make the beds - I was going to strip them today but don't really want to create any additional washing and they were done end of last week so will leave till middle of week when hopefully wm will be repaired. DONE

Sort out the basket of clothes that I brought in last night and either hang on the airer or put into the ironing pile DONE, It has all been added to the ironing pile

Clear the bedroom floors and put washing into the laundry basket DONE

Dust the bedrooms and clean the mirrorDONE

Put away the clothes that were ironed on Wednesday DONE

Contact client to confirm the time for appointmentDONE

Wipe all of the light switches in the houseDONE

Sort through the kids drawers and remove any clothes that are too small or beyond repair

    Sort through nail polishesDONE

Check birthday card stockDONE, I will need to get some more cards to put into stock but I might make some if I can find the time

    Sort through shoesDONE

Sort through my drawers and remove anything beyond repair or that I will never wear again1 out of 3 done

Clear the clutter from the desk and dustDONE

I think that is enough to be getting on with at the moment, I will check in later and update what I have done. Happy flying everyone x

Aww, I've only just seen this.:( Commiserations to DS; do not get me started about pond life that cut people up at roundabouts:mad: MK is full of roundabouts, and we get a lot of that here. If my well-placed curses work, there are some bad drivers around here with uncomfortable cases of haemorrhoids *evil grin*
Anyways, if he knows what went wrong, he can make this a learning experience, and go back on 3rd June with optimism in his heart.:o

    TMD I hope you're having a better day today.:o

I got both the bedroom and the spare room done yesterday - even cleaned the insides of the windows!:D Mr LW is slaving over a hot laptop (wfh today), and I'm waiting for The Jessicle:D to arrive.

I have to visit the optician this afternoon, so a few no-change-in-prescription vibes would be appreciated as I can't afford new specs.:o

I thought I'd achieved loads already today (well I probably have) but list is still alarmingly long.

Beds all stripped though and one lot on the line - Valli keep that rain up North for a while we have a break in the weather here.

    Toilet descalling in progress.

Going to have a cuppa and deal with 50 emails - plan is to do 50 everytime I come to the pc then do a hour's flying at 11 before lunch.

Dancemum - picture of a big scary bird at the window - eagle
    etc?

Mummy5 - commiserations for your DS

Valli - ah you too are put of the Friday night club, I always need to buy more food when I take DS2. Hope yours are coping ok with their revision. DS2 has been up until midnight every night this week finishing coursework. He was up at 6:30 this morning doing more before the bus.

My son's first attempt was scuppered by a 'white van man' - but he passed next time, and was much better for knowing how it would go! Hope he's not too upset today!
