I've done HHI and picked up DD, she is now doing a "5 min pick up" in her room and seems to be keeping on top of the big tidy she did on the weekend.
I still need to do my t-shirt and trousers for work tomorrow (still grinning like a Cheshire cat with the extra work :) ) I only have 1 t-shirt and like to have it clean. Must try and get a second one.
Going to finish watching The HB and do a s+s of the kitchen then iron work clothes and then I think I'll have a chill out.

Haven't caught up on thread but was asked in school today if I could cover every day for a few weeks...............oh yes!!!!!! :) Really pleased about that :)

Delighted for you, toochoosey! You definitely deserve that new t-shirt!

I have a migraine today, made much worse by the lighting in Specs@vers while I was waiting to have my new specs adjusted  I have achieved very little, except upset DH :(

Tooch.. I just read that as you were naked in school today... I think I need to go to specsavers with iona!!

I'm just hoping for a nice peaceful day tomorrow with some good news and an emptied baking cupboard. Stuff is being moved to top shelf of larder unit to keep the 2 small imps out of it and the baking cupboard is to contain unopened cereal and other non-messy things.

  • Morning :D, I have just woken up with Natures Own B00b Job - DD4 has been asleep for 6 and half hours, and I am getting painfully inflated (all I need is to paint myself orange, and I WILL look like a TOWIE reject :rotfl: ) so I will have to wake DD4 for a feed in a minute

Wow, what a busy lot of bees you have all been, just had a quick skim through Fred to catch up on everyone's news

Bossy big hugs for little moo, hope this bitey child gets help quickly so no more repetitions of this

Pigpen A new pelvis for Christmas? if you have got SPD isn't the new Pigpen arrival going to give you back your old one good as new by then :)? in the meantime, speak to MW about a referral to get a belly brace, it might give a bit of relief and stop you having to have crutches until near the end :( SPD is a Witch with a capital B, I had it with DS (but not DD4 strangely enough) so you have my sympathy.

Big hugs, sticks and spoons for everyone, time to wake up DD4 before I explode:eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl::eek:, then I will seriously look at listy to see what I can cross off

Thought I had done loads this week so far - I must get back to logging in a couple of times a day.

Missed Mum and baby group on Monday as "too busy" but I can't remember why now :o - ah yes cookfest/nostalgia day- HM "Miners-style Cornish Pasties" made according to my Cornish Nan's recipe (2/3 savoury filling at one end and 1/3 sweet filling at the other) HM Pizza, a cross between hut and D0min0s style, custard and banana tarts with pastry scraps from pasties, deep fried roasties made according to my "Cockney" Nan's cooking
Was Mum and Dad's Anniversary, so rang my Mum for an hour to check she was doing ok
DD4 had injections Tuesday and horsepiddle yesterday morning - DD4 got the all clear on her hips so one more weight decluttered off my mind and HV did home visit at lunchtime- she was pleased to see I actually had curtains open, blinds up and windows open for first time since she started seeing me.
Mount Foldmore seriously attacked - airing cupboard was almost empty :eek::eek: now all neatly folded again Anthea style
Fleabay parcel arrived with some more trousers and shorts for DS, all flip-flopped Sheldon style in his drawers
Fleabay remote control boat arrived for DS, taken to boating "pond" on seafront for a bit of R&R on Tuesday

EX visiting as on holiday, to be around for DD4 horsepiddle just in case- worked in the garden with DS Wednesday- ok it wouldn't win any prizes at the Chelsea Flower Show, but with DD3 snuggling DD4 in the Log Cabin out of the sunshine a lot of garden flying has been done.

Decluttered trampoline netting as too many large holes to sew up (based on how long it took last time I repaired, I am looking at 10 hours sewing in situ ) measured up for a new one on fleabay
Decluttered perished foam supports on trampoline cage - will replace tomorrow with spare insulation foam that goes round copper piping (hoarding/recycling does come in handy sometimes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
trampoline sprayed with hot soda crystals solution, given a good scrub and hose down
relocated all my plant tubs and crates to side of house, and de-weeded 3 of them
pulled lots of flowering weed heads out of the back garden, before EX and DS played "Diggers" and smashed up the uneven mounds, pulling out chunks of brick along the way- ready to seed so DS will have a nice grassy area to play- eventually

A big pile of scrap metal collected together ready to take to salvage yard to get some cash this morning :money:
A big pile of rubble and several bags of green waste to go to recycling centre
assorted broken/split pots, buckets and containers to be junked

I was going to use soda crystals to kill off all the moss and weeds in the cracks on the patio outside the back door, EX dug out a pressure washer that I had bought him years and years ago (which was used just once to wash his car before going to the back of the shed)- although the patio has been swept and hosed from time to time, I thought the patio stones were grey - once I actually found the optimum distance to fire at the stones I was horrified but quietly pleased to find after jet washing the patio stones are actually YELLOW :j:eek::j:eek::j

I also pressure washed green mold off the walls at back of the house - this beats squirting washing up liquid up the walls and scrubbing with a brush - which was only done in the Autumn.

quick de-weed of borders from flower headed weeds and dead material (buttercups, brambles, nettles and stray grass can wait for another time) so at least looking out of the kitchen window, the borders look green and tidy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

EX made repairs to loose rendering at front of the house.

Actually, now I list it, there was quite a lot done afterall :j

Right, time to get my head down, then I will make a start on attacking the kitchen, for shame the lunch and dinner things need my attention :o
My 3rd Green steam mop arrives tomorrow so I will catch up with mopping as soon as it arrives ;) and I will try and get back on list before I try to finish my painting in DR :rotfl:

    TTFN

    Attention bird watchers
We have a small grey bird that keeps tapping on my boys' window. It flies with a friend who taps on the bathroom one. It is driving us mad. Any solutions gratefully accepted.
