Morning All
Well, DS’s room is now immaculate! I fixed his Ikea toy storage unit, put lots of wee pictures on the tubs so he now knows what goes in each tub & one has been left for odds & sods, so no excuse for him now. I ended up doing his whole room, stripping his bed, turned mattress & put on fresh bedding, then hoovered & polished, so didn’t have time for much elsel ast night after normal night time routines & baths etc. I have not been able to get any of the outside things done this week, its wet, cold & windy here, hopefully it will be dry at the weekend as my front garden needs seriously attending to, lots of dead plants & general tidy up required.

hugs to your DD bossy, hope playgroup shadow well enough to make sure it doesnt happen again and find out whats causing child to do it so that it stops!
lounge curtains are in the wm and ive just picked a bag of litter out of the front garden. we are near a park and a school so get lots blow in.
a bit disappointed with the St George tulips i brought, they are pretty enough and did flower for the day but are lemon with a muted red/orange band on some petals (other petals are a mottled mix of muted colours.) nothing like the cg picture advertised in the paper with a white petal bearing a crisp red stripe. oh well i know what they were supposed to be. and its looking pretty out there now the cream and lilac tulips have popped open this morning to join them.
just got to nip down shops
then ill do a HHC at 9.30SPC~12 ot 124

Hallo!
Much better today. Think we all needed a good boo. Although I got a call from nursery, when I was driving, but when I called back it was engaged for ages. So me in a tizz drove there straight away to find DD has been bitten again, and its a bad one. Same childThe bruise from the last hasn't even gone yet. They are getting someone in to shadow him as its getting out of hand - seems his mum is beside herself (and gets bitten too by all accounts). Anyway, she's ok and I've put arnica on her (DD, not the boys mum). So it's been a bit hectic what with work too and hence not much flying.
Your poor DD, thats a shame poor wee sowel & I hope the child that is biting gets the help they need, sounds like there may be more going on there x:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Well past bed time now; I keep meaning to go earlier so I can get up in the morning, but somehow it never happens.........
I've been saying the same thing for weeks now, but it never happens for me either. Went up to bed 12.45 this morning, even though I came in from work at 10.30 like the living dead, saying to OH that I wanted to be in bed by 11. Will I ever learn? Doubt it.
Bossy - poor little DD - hope things are sorted swiftly and smoothly for everyone concerned and glad to hear that you are in better form too.
Pushed through my plod-like state this morning and S&S's the kitchen, did the pots, WM x 1, TD x 2, and folded and put away 4 baskets of washing which has been sitting there since Friday. Off to work now - but heart not in it today. Note to self - WILL HAVE AN EARLY NIGHT IF IT KILLS ME.
Tonight's tasks:- early dinner, DD at Brownies at 6, Parents Evening for DS at 6.10 until ??, Collect DD at 7.15, return to school for more appointments, collapse in a heap about 9.30.
Have a productive day everyone.
TMD xx

Back from walking, WM1 now on the line and WM2 in progress.
Just waiting for DS1 to finish in the shower then my turn, we got home at the same time. I'm going to pop into town then to run a few errands. Meeting at DS2 school at 5pm so DS1 is doing the cricket run for me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bossy poor DD; that's awful - I can't imagine what would make the other child bite like that.:(trulymadlydeeply_indebt! wrote: »Note to self - WILL HAVE AN EARLY NIGHT IF IT KILLS ME.
I'm pleased to say that the tie I washed for Mr LW has come up beautifully, not a trace of the decade-old stain.:T
I mentioned to him last night that today is bathroom day, and that I was going to have a "fun" time (NOT) scrubbing the bottom of the loo with my wrists like they are - and bless him, he went and scrubbed it.:A So I just have the rest to do, which is not so awkward to get to. How many men volunteer to do the loo??:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

bossymoo hope your DD isn't in too much pain from the bite, how awful
I didn't get round to posting last night, and that might have been because there was minimal flying involved ...! I did the basics of cook dinner, wash up, tidy up etc.
Tonight after work I will do the living, hall and stairs, and also tackle the bathroom. It really needs doing and the bathroom is my least favourite job.
Right now I'm on my lunch break at work, just scoffed a sandwich and now I'm off out for a brisk walk to get some fresh air and vitamin D!0 -
Hi all,
just a quick check in from paid stuff. I appear to have sorted my taxation issue. In that I understand it, not so much that it's incorrect. Thankfully I keep / hoard my tax code notices and last year they sent me the calc forms for 4 tax years. so matching them up I can see whats happened. However, if they stopped messing the code about it would recoup what I owe. So now I have a negative code, and just need to keep an eye on it, or else I'll never pay them back! I wouldn't mind, it's not a huge amount, don't see why they've faffed over 4 years about it...

Not many - mine does most things but avoids the loo like the plaque except when he has tinkled. My youngest son has a habit of missing the bowl in the night - cue DD (20) standing in a pool of piddle or worse sitting on it. She has a loud and hysterical exchange with him after which he does clean it up. Boys and Men :eek::eek:I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
