OP, sorry to keep banging on about this, but this is important.
When PE sent you your POPLA form, and you say it was filled in, please can you confirm whether it was ENTIRELY filled in, and you just sent it off to POPLA, or whether they just filled in some details, like POPLA code.
This is VERY important. If PE are filling in POPLA forms on people's behalf I would consider this a serious abuse of process.
Uninformed people are likely to send off the form as is, which as PE know, will be an almost certain win for PE at POPLA.
If they really are doing this then I will be pushing strongly for BPA and DVLA sanctions.
I have taken the precaution of going out to harvest 4 or 5 PE tickets so I can protest myself, but they won't arrive for a couple of weeks, so any heads up will be very useful.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
My name address, their claim code and car reg was filled in also the date of the fine. Sorry if I have mislead you in thinking my appeal was filled in.0

Thanks.
Ah well, I'll just have to have some other fun with those tickets then ;-)Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -

Well obviously that's OK, why didn't you say earlier?
Are you going to bother to add more to your POPLA appeal or do you want to lose?! Why did you just send off a soft appeal?!
You won't be paying it but stop being such a victim and add more to that appeal, we've given you plenty of advice and links...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't see why I should pay I did nothing wrong, I am here to see if anyone one else has been caught, and what was the out come .. I am no good at letter writing I would rather say it face to face.0

Yes of course LOADS of people have been 'caught' every thread is about this scam.
You will lose if you can't be bothered to add more as there is no 'face to face' POPLA appeal. Face that fact and give it a proper go! No-one expects a perfect letter and we've given you links that you can copy & paste from!
Why not do that and post your draft extra appeal points here first? We can help if you just try and show us your draft so far of all the points you missed for POPLA at first!
What have you found when checking your PCN and procedure/deadlines etc. against the BPA Code of Practice?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am a regular user of the car park in Thorpe road but was unaware of the new prices, if there was a sign stating new prices apply, then i would of paid the correct price and not at the old price as before.
I consider myself as a honest person and would never try and not pay for the parking required.
I know what your thinking..
It's rubbish isn't it.
It's not that I can't be bothered I'm not not clever enough to compose a appeal letter0 -
Did you really send that as your POPLA 'appeal'? Why bother?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
