To Inactive et al, did you actually read the original post:
If you buy mail order then the distance selling regs protect you, so you've got 10 days to try out your purchase at home and you're free to change your mind.
At least get your facts right before making critical comment.
Oh and with Dell, that means sending it back to Ireland of course.. :rolleyes:0 -
Great machine if your kids don't mind having an out of date PC and aren't really bothered about the fact they have nothing to actually look at! Add another £100+ for a monitor and this machine starts to look very dated and massively overpriced.
Dell or not this machine is NOT a bargain. And I defy anyone to build their own machine with a decent spec for £200! £10 for a keyboard, mouse AND card reader????
Don't argue - just buy the Dell !!!!!! - it's a bargain, despite what any IT tutors might tell you.
So you want us to believe you over someone that has had close dealings - surely their opinion should not be dissed.
By the way as a person that works for an extremely large IT/Comms company I was involved with the Y2k "BUG" upgrades and build PCs etc. The company used to have Dell but are now using another well known brand.
DELL or NO DELL ? NO DELL.CHEAP IN COST NOT IN STYLE...0 -
<sarcasm>Well, I was tempted with this offer, but seeing as the highly respected member Sir Choice, with one post, who mentioned a banned link, recommended Novatech twice in one post, obviously I am going to drop all intention of going to Lidl and go to novatech instead! I'm sure that the poster has no vested interest in this web site at all.</sarcasm>

There is a huge difference between offering an unbiased opinion and offering an opinion based on having a vested interest. If I happen to think Dell is the best PC manufacturer that's one thing, but if the CEO of Dell said it I'm sure that you wouldn't give that argument quite as much weight.
May I point you towards?Sir_Choice wrote:freedom of speech is a lovely thing bell end.MSE_Martin wrote:Sir_Choice wrote:Not to mention that i can guarantee im far more qualified in this area than yourself, being microsoft and cisco certified, huh?
How the hell do you know how qualified I am on any matter in relation to any area of life? You've never met me! Once again, as Martin would say:MSE_Martin wrote:Sir_Choice wrote:get some friends.
Once again, how do you know how many friends I have? I have plenty enough to keep me happy thanks, and even if I didn't, it's not really any of your business, it it?
