It's not a great deal but for someone who likes to buy face to face rather than over the internet its not bad particularly if you want to pay cash maybe not having any cards or not prepared to use them etc.

I agree, not everyone wants to/ or can order stuff over the internet, some people prefer to see what they are buying in the flesh.

A good post by the OP.

Cos it's far too expensive especially compared to that Dell offer!

That doesn't make it " Rubbish " though, does it.

It makes it a different offer, targeted at a different audience.;)

That doesn't make this one " Rubbish ".

The Dell doesn't have a 3 year warranty at that price, so they are not comparable.

As I said earlier, some people don't want to/ cannot buy over the internet or by phone, so this Lidl Computer is ideal for their needs.

The OP posted the Lidl Computer in good faith, I get a bit annoyed when folk turn up and " Rubbish " their find/s.

Nobody is forced to buy anything on here.

I agree "Inactive" the OP should be thanked not rubbished.
What I cannot understand is where all the the guys that are usually slagging off Dell or have they redeemed themselves.
If it's been of interest to one person then it's served its purpose.
This sort of thing prevents people from posting....

    But it's not a bargain!

I do appreciate the OP's original efforts, but this board is for posting things that are cheap. The PC isn't cheap even if you want to buy on the high street.

There are better specified PCs for the same price at most of the big electrical shops.

    For example!

But no 3 Year warranty, again.

Some people like the assurance of a 3 year warranty.;)

Some people also like to look at a monitor when they use a computer :rotfl:

This thread is about the Targa from Lidl's, not the Dell.

I am sure there will be a thread relating to the Dell somewhere if people wish to discuss it.

Any .. so called .. " petty arguments " all relate to the Dell.

So no need to close this thread, as you suggest.
