Well done Mistress of the bannocks :) what kind of flour did you use?

I'm happy about work, I work hard, its nice to hear you're appreciated too.

And, now to update the budgets and stare through closed fingers.

  • And it wasn't

But I've done a huge £500 payment to it which covers the weekend away.

    Spends for that were

    Ferry £109
    Petrol £74.06
    Cafe's etc - £27.90
Magazine - £3.90 (but gave to chum as thank you)
Skiing (treat) - £88 (mr me bought tea out in return for us all)
Perfume (mega treat once every 300 years) - £21.50 on boat discounted from £35 :)
Shoes - £100 (I had to lie down for this but my last pairs have been charity shops, my boots were free so on average over the last 5 years that's my only new pair)

Fingers and toes that comes to
    £209.50 on treats (eek)
    £173.06 on travel costs
    £27.90 on snackage

    £410.46

I reckoned on around £300 for trip + treats

Pippi, I used the beremeal (its been in the freezer, I was at a loss and didn't want to ruin it) along with some Dove's gluten free flour. I sussed it by getting used to using cheap out of date crap from Approved Foods - 19p for three kilos! Once I'd got that down, I re-read Plantalisciousnessnessness's recipe, and realised the proportions I needed :p

The trip is fine! You paid it off, the cc was just an intermediary - in fact, you paid more off. You're good to go :T

Hope you have a good weekend :T

Making marmalade... Worktop covered in long unused electrical items, i knew that juicer would come in handy .. Food processor out, might need to cook something else before this new found domesticity wears off .... Will let you know if its fit to eat ... Now can i sterilise jars in the microwave ?

Edited to add ... Its bally delicious ! And i dont usually like marmalade, hubby gets thru a jar a week tho !
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..
