You can pick up fitness equipment quite cheaply off eBay. I think people buy it and then get fed up falling over it.

If you’re trying to drop a few pounds, don’t start off by trying to overhaul all your eating and exercise habits. You’re better off finding several simple things you can do on a daily basis—along with following the cardinal rules of eating more vegetables and less fat and getting more physical activity.

You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

    I'm 18 and i weigh 11:9 3/4 stone.
At the moment i can't afford to go to the gym
& I feel uncomfortable about going to weight watchers.

Every other week i spent 15 minutes walking to placement & 15 minutes walking back, and some times i walk for 45 minutes to go over my partners house.

I was wondering if there were any simple & cheap ways i could loose weight,at home or in a local filed ect..
i really want to loose some bum &thigh weight.

i do have a Wii & the wii fit games

Get a pedometer and work your way up to the recommended 10,000 steps each and every day (classed as physical activity not exercise). Once you are there add in more intense formal exercise starting with half an hour every other day, you could do hill walking, Wii Fit, a beginners jogging programme, fitness DVDs, use cheap tools like a Swiss ball and resistance bands. Look for the initial five to ten minutes to be easy conversational pace (warm up) then assuming you are otherwise healthy intermittently get really out of puff, even as far as gasping for air. The harder you work the more fat you burn during AND after the workout - research suggests up to twice as much fat loss. Agree with heartbreak_star, don't waste your time with light hand weights use heavy weights/ high resistance, your body is the most convenient tool!

TBH tho you probably need to review your diet more than your exercise regime, it's a lot easier to eat 500 calories than it is to burn it off through physical activity. Start measuring your food out and stick to government recommended portion sizes, not manufacturer ones or eyeballing. Be sure you are eating at least five servings of fruit and veg a day, preferably seven to nine in the full rainbow of colours, three servings of dairy a day, at least two of oily fish a week, switch all your starchy carbs to whole/ brown, keep sugar added/ fat added foods to maximum 10% daily calories (this includes many breakfast cereals and flavoured yoghurts not just obvious junk).

What's good for the bum and thighs is short sprinting for 20 seconds. Then do intervals of walking and sprinting. And don't buy so much cookies and fattening stuff in your house so you wont' be tempted to eat it.

When it comes to food i still live at home and i eat whatever mum cooks we use semi-skimmed milk, half spoon sugar and we have an air fryer which we use a light fry spray. We also use light mayo as well. We dont eat massively anyway :/

I don't tend to snack out maybe 1 or 2 biscuits in the morning but thatcfan't be too bad
can it? Also with bread, I wont eat it if its brown bread. I hate the taste and doesn't fill me up so when I have it im snacking out :/

  • Portion size! When I calorie counted I discovered my portion sizes where about twice as big as they should be!!

Loads of fruit, veg and water less sugar and processed foods.

How about an exercise class - they can be fun and cheap and you only pay when you go - no unused gym subscriptions.

Doesn't matter what you eat or how it's cooked, too many calories in = add weight, too few in = lose weight.

Light mayo, chips, sugar, milk, biscuits all have calories

Limit yourself to 1000 calories a day, the weight will come off.

And most low-fat foods have higher sugar levels. Fat fills you up; sugar doesn't.
