I first met DH at 16, he was 18. We were very much in love but too young (for us) and spilt up after four years. A couple of years later we randomly got back in touch by chance. Within two weeks of seeing each other, I knew this was it. We had both matured, got our own flats, careers, lifes etc etc. After 5 months DH decided to move to my town (lived an hour or so away), we bought a house....and the rest is history

I fell for my husband as soon as I met him - my 'heart turned over'. We met on a blind date, got married four months later and are still happily married after 41 years.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
I knew the night we met, we just clicked straight away. Think we've had maybe half a dozen arguements in 12 years and usually over one of us getting the wrong end of the stick. Not bad going really, we're just on the same level on pretty much everything.0

I was pretty smitten at first meeting but I knew he was for keeps the first time he took me to meet his parents and he stopped to pick them up a pint of milk and a newspaper

the first time we met, I knew OH was the one. Three months later, we went our seperate ways. The timing was awful, he hadn't long seperated from his wife.
Over ten years later, we have been together for 5 years nearly, and are planning a family.0 -
I knew within days, I knew as soon as I saw him that I'd never see anyone better looking again so I might as well try and get to know him! Turns out his personality is even better, been together 5 and a half years and married for almost two. I think you just know when you know.Rubbish at the grocery challenge!0

First time I met him! I liked him, fancied him, and the love grew quickly. Moved in 8 weeks later, married a year later, just had our 18th wedding anniversary. Love him more every day, and never a day has passed without him saying and showing he loves me. X0

When she stopped screaming when I left her in the dark cold basement for long periods. I think she was starting to trust me.0

Never thought my OH was going to be long term, more a bit of fun - he's from another Country so it was fun learning his culture and quirky ways and vice versa - this blossomed into love and after 2 years we bought a house together - it's now nearly 11 years and although I don't feel the need to get married (we're both mid forties) and much to my stupid ideal of the perfect man, I've now concluded he was and is indeed, the ONE.0
