All sounds horribly familar. I remember the first time I received the PO report and naively assumed the csa wouldn't/couldn't mess up again. How wrong I was. It was never ending.

Just got a letter from the CSA in Edinburgh telling me I was getting £84 odd per week. Hooray, great, really? Phone them to be told 'Oh that's just a computer generated letter as it's a year since the last one, you aren't getting that money'. Knew it had to be too good to be true. So thinks I might as well ring Hastings while I'm here and see if there's any news lol lol lol!!! Alan, the guy I ask for who knows all about me hahaha, isn't in the office, well whata ya know!! So I ask for an up date since my last call. 'We are not processing any further with your case'. Oh ok I say, is that cos you haven't got any new information? Apparently they do have some new information since my last call but seemingly choose not to do anything with it?!! Why? After some heated words between me and Mr. on the other end I just ask that Alan contact me asap. Guess what, oh yes, he hasn't ....... yet. Call me Live in Hope cos I do.
Sensemaya - I will never give up, thanks for the support.0 -
So my determination carried on and finally the CSA tracked him down as employed and had been for over a year! You can imagine I was not happy to hear that, why hadn't this been flagged up before - I was told by the CSA they check regularly with HMRC and HMRC since 2012 have meant to be informing the CSA about NRP's employment status, clearly not quiet working properly, oh well just another failing government body I guess. Anyway woke up this morning to a phone call from the CSA!!! I have finally got some money through on a DEO!! Should be in my bank by Wednesday, really can't remember when I last had anything, 2008 I think, will up date on Wednesday when I get over the shock if it's there!!!0

The PO have upheld my complaints, but I have emailed Stephen Lawson as I am unhappy with parts of their report. I sent a concise email on Sunday night and had no acknowledgement today. I really struggle with lawyers, just another breed of total bandits, but fingers crossed he gets back to me tomorrow. His name has cropped up a couple of times, but what do you know of him Sensemaya?0

Hi nicky3, is it a draft report or final report you have got? Although they upheld your complaint, as they did mine, what is their resolution of it all? Let me know who you go with Stephen Lawson, I never went down that road.0

It's Wednesday and the money is in the Bank. Wonder if it'll be there next month too or if the scumbag will stop working. We will see!0

As much as I agree your child/ren's father should pay his bit, perhaps it's worth reminding you that without thatscumbag
It's all very well fighting for what is right, however being bitter about your ex is the last thing you should be doing. I hope your child/ren aren't exposed to this kind of talk about him.0 -
Lovetoread how dare you comment so judgementally on my situation, you know nothing about me or what I've been through.
Calling him a scumbag is nothing compared to what he has put me and the girls through, never mind deliberatly avoiding his responsibilities.
For your information I have never exposed my girls to our problems but have brought them both up since the youngest was 8 months old and they are now 19 and 21, old enough to ask questions and old enough to be told the truth. Old enough to make their own minds up about the scumbag dad who turned his back on them.
All I'm guilty of is trying to do the right thing.0 -

It sounds like you have had a tough time and well done for doing it without the input of your ex, you should be very proud of yourself. Morally he has done one of the lowest things he could ever do, but it is his human right, even if it is totally wrong.
I am in no way supporting your ex and I wasn't judging you but merely reminding you that without him you wouldn't have your children. I'm sure you would rather have them than never have had them.
I didn't realise your children were adults now, and quite rightly they can make their own minds up about him.
I hope you get justice and what is owed to you.0
