well, the CSA said I never made a claim, I had to point out to them that I could not make a claim while there was an active one against me, but I guess in theory I am owed for that period....just not sure how they would work out how much.....How much did you get in actual compensation? And see the money you were owed....did it come from the public purse or the other parent? I tried to search MrGreengenes but nothing came up :-(

So finally my complaint has been assessed at the PO and I now have an Investigator. I have been in contact with the investigator who has said I have a case to be answered!! :T

Anyone else got any news yet?

So finally got the report from the PO, what a waste of time. They came to the same conclusion as ICE.

Don't know where to go now.

that is bad chat! Don't think there is anywhere else to go except court, is that something you would consider?

My caseworker at the PO has taken both my ICE report and my Adjoudicator (re child benefit) report and is considering them together, hopefully this will mean a success against the CSA in their use of non existent legislation about needing child benefit to prove residency of a child.

    Sorry to hear this.

Your last port of call is Stephen Lawson perhaps leading to Judicial Review.

Phone him with a brief summary. You need to get your points across concisely.

    Good Luck.

Thanks everyone, I had a break for a while to 'cool off' from all the stress this has caused me and have done some research on the internet and come up with a few bits of information that I have used to put in an appeal to the PO.

The unbelieveable (or maybe not) thing about the CSA is they still continue to stuff up. I telephone them regularly every 4-6 weeks, just to remind them about me, and I discovered that on phoning the number I normally do, expecting to speak to Hastings, where my case is dealt with, I'm told my file has been sent to Dublin, Ireland, what? why? The person on the phone says we do this when someone transfers to Ireland. Oh, ok, I say, who's gone to Ireland then cos it aint me! Does that mean they've got some new info on the NRP??? They get someone from Ireland to ring me and the lovely lady on the other line tells me she doesn't know why my file has been sent there!!! No surprise there then. So I go back to Hastings and speak to them only to be told it was sent there by MISTAKE. Oh well that's okay then.
  • It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at the CSA.I can't understand how a Government Agency who get so much wrong can have so much power over all our lives! We are still trying to prove our case over 18 months later. We had a tribunal where the CSA even turn up without any documents ! We had the whole case paperwork with us.The Judge looked a bit dispairing of the whole thing,we wished we'd asked him to look at our whole case while we were n front of him.The CSA 've lost recordings we asked for, mislaid letters, sent irrelevant pieces of other peoples paperwork out ,sent us 2 conflicting letters on same day! Somebody told me that, dated from few weeks ago, tribunals aren't allowed any more , perhaps they were losing too many! Left it to the MP now,we shouldn't have our stress levels maxed out like this!
