  • My case had been on old system for years being fobed of by csa that they will put me on new system after many phone calls still being fobbed of with the same answer, that someone has still not put me on new system. In the end i wrote a complaint to the csa in crew and was appointed a case worker and she kept to her promise in phoning me to let me know what was going on all times. It took two weeks for her to complete the whole case and , then started to recieve payments. So if it only takes 2 weeks to find my husband and set the payments up they would get a lot of cases dealt with. Unfortunatly my ex has stopped paying so they have now put an deductions order on him.

It shows what they can do when put under pressure but you shouldn't have had to do it like that as case was with them all along. Some CSA cases are horrendously complicated when they span many years & several changes of partner & circumstances -they must have such a headache at the end of the day! Glad to hear you got payments at last, he can hardly get out of a deductions order as it comes straight from the employer. Hope he doesn't give up his job now, as some do when they are caught up with or job hop from one job to another or you could be back to square one!
  • Well we agreed to do it mutual and said he would not let us down but he did . fed up phoning him to ask where the money so in end got the csa to take the payments but stopped paying again so the deductions order is in place and his employer has got to the 19th of this mth to pay.If he leaves his job i'm still smiling get £5 a week and see him suffer on £56 a week. not spoke to him for 3yrs but now i got letter in post asking how i am and my boy please contact him regarding csa lol cos he got to pay double a mth now cos of the arrears building up

Cheeky bug*ger. Unless the letter mentions about seeing your son I would ignore it.
  • I know lol I know what the letter is about, I bet he wants to pay me direct again the amount he wants to pay. He upset my boy anyway cos he sent him a birthday card signed his name and not from dad and my son was in hospital at the time. And ive kept my cool for so many yrs not to slag the father of but that was it... Never had problems with my other ex on paying csa he paid every mth without fail all the 19yrs without a quibble.:T

Yay! Result! Not a lot though really for all the mistakes & stress. We got £50 too from the normal CSA complaints dept but their tardiness caused to us to keep paying the pwc direct, none of which counts, so cost us a lot more in the long run. Somebody told us they will only make one payout so, although admitting a mistake on their behalf, it's limiting the chance of future compensation! They seem quick enough to hand out the £50's.

Got a letter from the Parliamentary Health Ombudsman last week. They have agreed to investigate my complaint starting with the CSA.

    Great news. :T

Sit back, relax and wait for the sh*it to hit the fan. The PO does get down to the 'bottom' of things.
