    Hello DTBDF

Just spotted your diary title, liked it and have just sat here and read it all from the start :) You are truly doing so well. But you are too hard on yourself. Managing despite the tightness of the budget shows real grit and courage.

Very pleased at the Unison contribution. Was briefly a member so feel pleased they have helped out. What TUs are for, really. Support.

Anyway, will subscribe and cheer you on your way to being DF :)

  • Thanks for the support brizzlefw I am too harsh on myself but I get frustrated when I can't make a difference every single day. Have just logged onto online banking and there's £1.05 in the account. Swiftly transferred the spare £1 to Lucas. It's not a massive amount but it certainly makes a difference.

Off to update the signature now and counting down the days until payday.

  • Hey, just two more pounds and you've cleared the half way point with Lucas. Just stay with it. It's all going well.

  • Can't sleep so just logged onto mobile banking and there's a spare £8. Have just transferred it to Lucas so I'm over half way to paying it back now. Get paid on Monday so hoping to pay quite a chunk of it off fingers crossed x

i love how you just keep chipping away. You're an inspiration.

  • Thanks for the support everyone, it keeps me going.

Have just been updating the 'debt' file and it don't half look grim! Payday tomorrow and I'm hoping it'll be a good pay so that I can clear Lucas. The next one to concentrate on then will be a £40 debt to Transcom so I'm hoping that won't take too long to clear. I am so determined to get the debt down this time that time just done move quick enough for me :)

  • Hello, had a really busy week so have neglected the diary. I have paid off and extra £16 to Lucas so the balance is down to £40. I'm still hoping to clear it by the end of July and am waiting for some money off Music Magpie so hoping it will come through in time.

Not much else has been happening apart from a letter from the Halifax saying they will look into my appeal regarding mis-selling of ppi. Unfortunately it can take up to 6 weeks which is a bit annoying - hopefully it won't take that long tho.

Got a week off work next week so looking forward to chilling out and reading some books.
