Ok so today I received 2 cheques off unison, one for the council tax and one towards the gas arrears. I am one happy lady. Will get them sent off tomorrow so there'll be 2 less things to worry about.

Haven't paid anything off Lucas today as there's only 15p in the bank account. Tax credits tomorrow though so will be able to pay another small amount off again. I'd really like to pay this debt off before the end of this month and so far it's looking good. Just hope I can keep up the momentum.

Ok so the cheques from Unison have been sent off and I've managed to scrape another £5 to pay to Lucas. Not feeling particularly positive today as everything has appeared to go wrong. Not major things just lots of little things and now find myself at home feeling sorry for myself and nursing a headache.

Hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

Nothing to report today. No good or bad news in the mail and no surprise deposits gone into my bank account! Weather not the best this afternoon so done nothing but watch films with the kids. I suppose it classes as money saving as it's completely free.

Will the number of creditors reduce once the unison cheques hit the council tax arrears?

Hi INOD unfortunately no the number of creditors won't reduce as British gas and council tax were additional. Hopefully though I'll be able to reduce the number of creditors by the end of the month by paying off Lucas. I've got a spare £9 in the bank which will be transferred today. Off to update the signature.

I can certainly reassure you that I don't feel very inspirational lol. I feel as if running in quicksand.

I'm in a very positive mood today, I've got the 'I can do this attitude' hype feeling probably won't last very long but it's good whilst it lasts

Last week in work this week then two weeks off. I really need to stay focused whilst I'm off, I don't want to spend too much money but want to be able to take the kids somewhere. Think I'll take each day as it comes rather than make promises I won't be able to keep.

Well there's been absolutely no movement of money today which is rather disappointing. There's no money scheduled to hit the bank account until Friday when there should be an excess of £3 that I can throw at Lucas.

Only 5 days until payday when an additional few pounds can come off the debt.
