Good news on all the extras that have come your way, fingers crossed your ppi comes back successful too.

Well done the co-op will be paid off in no time.

  • Thanks for the support both. I feel really positive at the moment. Don't know how long this feeling is going to last but am making the most of it whilst it lasts.

Have had a really good tidy up in my bedroom and found one or two more things for the car boot sale. Chilling out for a bit now before going to bed

  • Another lovely weekend and managed to transfer another £2 into the Co-op account. I'd love to get that cleared as soon as possible :)

  • On a bit of a downer today. Only got 31p until payday which is Wednesday. I know I only have to get through tomorrow but I wish I could be one of those people who have money left at the end of every month.

Had a letter back from M and S bank today regarding ppi. They can't find any account for me. I'll have to write back to them with my maiden name and previous address. Who knows, there may be something there for me.

Hopefully my pay rise will come through this month. Whatever extra is there is going off the Co-op account. I WILL BE DEBT FREE!!!

Only tomorrow to get through, 31p is a great start to having money left!

Ooh frustrating that you have to send off another letter, hope it is worth doing.

You definitely will be debt free, hang in there and sending positive vibes for an uneventful day tomorrow.

  • It's such hard work Chrysalis. I can't remember it being this boring spending the money.

I'm going through the - why oh why was I so stupid - stage at the moment.

Ah that happens over and over, when I moved up here I paid everything off then over the years it's all gone to pot again.

Can't turn back time unfortunately, just move on. I am so determined not to have any debt and try to make up for our stupidity, it will come!

  • You've reduced your debt, killed off some completely and have money left at month end. You're doing so well. Stick with it.

  • Thanks for the support everyone. Feeling a bit better today but not much. I have managed to pay another £3 off the co-op account. It feels ridiculous transferring small amounts but I know that's the only way I can do it. Off to update signature now x

  • Have managed to pay off a massive £30 into the co-op account bringing my balance down to 35.50. Am really going to try and get this paid off by the end of May so that I can concentrate on the next small debt. I know £30 doesn't sound a lot but because I'm only paying back £1 per month it's taken a massive two and a half years off the repayment date :)

Still not heard anymore about the ppi but I'm hoping to have a little payout there. Hopefully it'll be enough to clear another debt.

Can't wait to get this all cleared now.
