CN22 is a Royal Mail form!
There are customs forms for couriers and export but CN22 is just RM.
Your link is specifically for RM and Parcelforce users, ie via Royal Mail!!This notice explains what happens when you import or export goods by post through Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide. It also applies to gifts received through the post. Please note that, unless specified otherwise, all further references to Royal Mail within the text of this notice also applies to Parcelforce Worldwide, who are part of Royal Mail Group Ltd.0 -
according to this it'll be sent back but doesn't say what the implications are to me http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/mail-advice/customs-information?campaignid=customs_redirect If situation reversed it would cost me £8 so presume something similar in Norway but he's not gonna pay as CD only cost £5. I assume PO thought Norway was in EU so guess PO failure to give me proper advice is going to cost me somehow without any comeback on PO0

Sorry but if you read the link I posted from HMRC there is no mention of Royal Mail. It states that the CN22 is required due to "international agreements". This refers to the Universal Postal Union, from where you will find references to all the "CN" documents and forms.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0 -
Kuepper "If no declaration is made, or the information is inaccurate, the package may be delayed while the Border Force make further enquiries, or in some cases the package and its contents may be returned to the sender or seized by the Border Force."Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. As an exporter, I can perhaps point you to your own link!!
I did add the edit to my post and highlighted the relevant part for you.
If you use even a basic MSE recommended courier, they will ask for their own customs labels. CN22 is Royal Mail group, not for universal export.0 -

This is already a nightmare . Is this the UK border force?0 -
See if this doesn't convince you: CN22 around the world:

Did you read the link? Point 1.1 (not that far in!)
1.1 What this notice is about

Sorry to labour, but I think you missed it earlier. Export is my sole business and I have NEVER used a CN22/23.

Are you for real?
You do not even read the first lines in your own links.
Google images will not change the laws on export.
CN22/23 are forms for Royal Mail, not export in general.
Send something via Interparcel, DHL, Trans and you MUST use the correct customs forms, NOT the label from the Post Office!0 -
The Universal Postal Union on CN22 \ CN23:
http://www.upu.int/en/activities/customs/about-customs.html
"WCO–UPU cooperation
The specific customs procedures in respect of postal items hold that the postal items accompanied by CN 22 and CN 23 customs declarations are cleared through customs without delay.
The WCO–UPU Contact Committee meets to discuss issues of mutual interest.
In the capacity-building area, the UPU and WCO organize a joint customs workshop each year for the customs and postal officials of developing countries."Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
