Good Lord! Pania, this definitely sounds political - best of luck in coping, I see you mentioned keeping everything documented - absolutely, document every single last thing, so that your good name doesn't suffer in the future, if you enjoy the job and want a career in this line. Lots of hugs.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Morning chappies, thanks for all the replies!!! you all up early this morning to?
Is payday for me today, wohoo!!!
I think the situation is that when i first started with the company our appointed reps didn't want to employ me due to my credit history, they stated that i was a high risk of committing mortgage fraud due to the temptation of the money, they quite clearly don't know me at all. I had to write a long and really rather humiliating letter surrounding why i left my previous career and "allowed myself" to get in such a bad situation financially! for 2 months i didn't know whether i had a job or not and had to answer endless questions and send copies of my agreements with creditors. Even now I have to be checked monthly to ensure i've not missed any payments or taken out more credit.
This line manager constantly reminds me that "the MD had to fight to get you" and my feeling is that he feels i shouldn't have been employed.
He was responsible for training me and checking my work but quite frankly gave the impression of not caring at all and i have kinda been left to it as a very new advisor in currently the busiest area of england.
Some of the comments that he has made to me when others haven't been around have reduced me to tears and it certainly seems to be bully tactics, I am constantly scared of loosing my job as they know that i am so reliant on it financially. I am going to work at getting myself in a position where if this boss says "i'm going to get the MD to ask you to resign" instead of collapsing in a heap i can say "right, fine, see you in court then." this really is the latest in a long line of carp and i can't wait for 2008!!
I am determined to fight this though as i have fought everything else and pull myself back up again. Right, off to iron a shirt for OH then catch up on some other threads. xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

oh trust me, he's picked the wrong person. I let him mess me up yesterday and am angry about that now, as they say there's nowt like a woman scorned!!! couldn't believe it when MD called and said welldone! I said "good to know i'm doing something right!" he said, hey everyone makes mistakes mate, it wasn't a big deal! like grrrrrrrrrr!!!! Anyway enough of all that.
Have been paid!! Woohoo!! Just checked account and it has gone in. Should be able to start with the overpayments big time now! yay!! but the car needs an MOT, dammit. have had to put £300 to one side as i think it will cost around that to get it all sorted and passed and taxed. can then sell the damn thing for something cheaper to run!
right time for a cuppa and some work. Hugs xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Morning P - grr your work makes me angry! It's so unfair and it does seem like you've been singled out. Hope you get it all sorted and yep, stand up for yourself!

I'm not sure I should mention our little October challenge - I think my total was probably in negative figures!
Should hopefully be a bit more on top of things this month, if I can resist the temptation of buying too many things for the new flat!
Hugs to you, have a good day xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
hi squirrel!! thanks for popping in hon!!
Yep my october challenge ended in £24 left over. wohoo i don't think!! MUST MUST MUST be better behaved this month!!
Hows the flat?
xx
Flat's good although there has been the odd thing that's needed sorted - the exploding kitchen light for one! It's a great improvement on the old place but still feel a bit sad that I'm doing it all on my own - had a bit of a wobble about it last night which didn't go down very well, but I guess I just have to get on with it eh?!
Right, no more moaning from this end - fingers crossed for a better money month in Nov for us both!

Glad you are feeling a little better today. Does your MD know they have stopped this money from you? If not it may be worth dropping a little word in his ear the next time he rings you with congratulations. You could do it quite casually as a bye the way sort of thing and hopefully drop your line manager right in the s##t.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Ches, I didn't get the impression that P had a daily chat with the MD, but I agree with you.
I think I'd be tempted to send an e-mail along the lines of
"thank-you for your words of encouragement and praise (or whatever) but it seems that if I make an error I get a financial penalty of x, if I do something well I get a thank-you phone call from the MD, which seems unfair or inconsistent"
Depending on your relationship with the MD.
(Pania, apologies if I'm butting in with no real knowledge of the whole picture.)0
