  • Hi P, I've only just caught up on your thread, huge hugs to you honey, I hope you managed a better nights sleep last night.

You really do sound like you need some time out, you have had so much on your plate to deal with and you do need to sound off. Do those around you realise the pressure and pain you are under, you need someone to take care of you and bring you back up.

Re your Dad, you really do have to do what is right for you, could you contact the Private Investigator or do you not have those details. I helped DH trace his parents so if you need a hand please do give me a shout.

If you were round the corner, I would come round with chocolates, movies and a shoulder to cry on - I could do that "virtually" if you like?

You have to put YOU first, work are out of order and I think you should sit and talk to someone in charge about your treatment, You cannot be made a scapegoat for their inadequacies.

Your OH has to realise how you are feeling and how close you are to breaking point and take some responsibility from you.

The most important thing though is that the debts are horrible but they are not the be all and end all and you are far more important than them. You are tackling them, they are not increasing, you are not behind and you will get there.

Take care sweetie, PM/gmail me if you need to, here to chat xx
  • Hi pania - just caught up with your thread. Hope you're feeling a bit better today; remember - you'll get there :)

hi guys, just had chance to get back on again, feeling a bit better now, having lots of cuddles which is nice. Think i was just away from home, had a pants day and something cracked. Jeez the anger though crikey, i never thought i had all that in me, was just like a volcano erupted and i couldn't dam it again afterwards.
Is so nice to know though that there are people on here at any time when needed and i have met some thoroughly lovely people.

Well, had another shock on friday, mum called me while i was in the meeting.
Ages ago before i moved to Norwich i went into town as a goodbye with my friends, returned home, moved house and that was that. Was forwarded a letter by the new lady from Maidstone borough council stating that i'd been issued a parking ticket and had to pay the fine. Wrote a letter back apealing same and heard no more so thought that was the end of the matter. (had this addy on it not old one) About 2 months ago was forwarded another letter from old address, this time a court summons re the ticket. Called the court, explained the situation, took the form to a solicitors and had it signed under oath that i knew nothing about this and had previously appealed the ticket with the council. Faxed back as advised and called the court after faxing who confirmed receipt. Again heard nothing so thought was the end of the matter..... with me so far?

Well, a bailiff turned up at my old address the other day, with van, and a court warrant for entry to my old house and a bill for £289 quid!!!!!! apparentl they have contiued sending letters to my old address despite me returning their documentation twice with my new address on it, sent another court summons there and have knocked numerous times to no reply, thats cos i don't bloomin live there!!!!!!!

HONESTLY you couldn't write a soap opera as good as this i tell ya!!! the incompetency of some people!!

called the bailiff and luckily he was really good about it all and gave me lots of advice. So in the morning council, county court, local MP and Mirror newspaper (for their traffic law advice section) and maybe even the kent messenger will all be receiving letters and i'll be looking for recompense for embarrasment to my family, undue distress and failing to follow proper procedure!!!!
Watch this space. think angry P is going to kick bot!! they've taken on the wrong person at the wrong time.

Trying to be strong and not let it get to me which is good.

Thanks for the offer of the virtual chocolates and hug BA.. may take you up on that one if ok. OH and i planning a trip to nearby your locality either first week of nov or december so hope to get to see you in person soon perhaps. Would be lovely to be able to buy you a drink for all the support you have offered.
(and anyone else on here if i'm ever in your area of course!!)

well have made enough money on a matched bet today and in my 20p tin to afford to go to the cricket dinner on friday (tickets £20 each) and have £4 for drinks!! means that it doesn't come out of my months money which is a bonus so watch yerself squizzel i'm coming after ya!!!!!!!

Hows everyones month going? still going strong for the challenge i hope!!
Hugs to everyone and thankyou all so much again. you're very special people.

    Lots of love.xxxx

  • :hello: P, glad you seem brighter, you are right, your life is one long life drama...boo to the Council!

Definately get together when you are in the area.

Not sure how I'm doing for the month challenge - just had lunch out with family which has blown it this week but am going to see what money I can "make" this month (you understand I am selling stuff and I do not have an illegal cash making machine :))

Have got a trip to FIL's at end of month to do xmas shopping at a discount centre so need to save/find money for that.

Glad you are having a better day though x

  • Buuny is just ace, currently running around pen with dog trying to work out how to remove her from the pen and then eat her

Lunch not so naughty but drunken curry last night was very naughty indeed! Entered a few races as well this week, but they cover the next few months and will keep me out of money mischief. I have got tons of stuff to ebay, it just getting my butt into gear to do it - will try it this week as DH is away and so I can use my time constructively.

McD's are ace when you are down - instantly feel better.

Off to raid the cupboards for something for the kids to eat now, sooooo can't be bothered as I am absolutely stuffed but do they understand that NO!!

    Hey pania.

I haven't read loads of your thread but I did catch the last few pages and I simply wanted to offer you a hug and some support.

I really hope you get a break soon - there's only so much people can absorb then it all comes out again and I think you got to that point!

You've got things to deal with here - take it steady and deal with the most important stuff first and that means anything to do with your health.

Don't try and sort out everything at once. Just do what you can.

Washing you a better week this week.

    LA xx
