Hi Pania, I haven't looked at the insurance/quidco thing recently, but in January when we were looking at insurance, Barclays were paying cash back for single policies, plus by doing buildings and contents as two separate policies through quidco, people here were reporting two lots of cashback validating!!
Insurance cashback always takes ages to come back - I have £120 validated but not received, and have been waiting months for it!! At least it should arrive eventually, but I WANT IT NOW :rotfl:
Hope you have a good day. I am tutoring all day, which I love, so that will be good. Catch up with you later.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
oh fantastic may give it a go then, see how i get on and report back! ok question for you, currently got car ins with Virgin car, 23.30 pcm protected no claims etc. direct line on quidco for £333 per year plus £120 cashback. joing fee of £58 could i get away with switching to Direct line til i have my cashback then going back to virgin (no set up fee no DD fee?) would this be a good idea or would direct line get the hump?
Any previous experience/opinions welcome!!

Hi Pania and welcome back,
I am also a diver - have just come back from a week in Sharm - I have mainly dived the Red sea, although have also dived Florida keys, Mexico and Thailand, not yet made it down under although I would love to go. My OH became an advanced diver last year so we are keen to go to Maldives for our honeymoon in September so we can go dive there.
Good luck ladies with the challenge. xThanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

 doh! Sorry unixgirl, thought you said you hadn't had internet access as been diving off the great barrier reef! i forgot i asked you where you'd been diving! Stoopido!:wall: that sounds like a fantastic holiday! when were you over there?
yep have to say my big goal is to get this debt cleared and then bug*** off permanently to new zealand, an amazing country and i loved it there.
i have a very good friend over there who is having a massive knee replacement operation in july, i so so wish money was no object and i could go over and be with him for it. one day hey!!:o
Diving is also spectacular! If you get chance go dive on the rainbow warrior, the greenpece vessel that was bombed in 1982, is fantastic! saw rather large scarey morays and loads of jewel anenomes (or however they spell it) and loads of different types of fish.
keep going with the amazon, quidco, mystery shopping, anything you can think of! from what i remember you quite roundly beat us all last time! you've done it once i'm sure you can do it again! :rotfl:
take care
