is ok whatatwit, my concience got the better of me and i figured being a pain in the butt wasn't a good enough reason to commit such a sin! being a sunday and all! Those debt spreadsheets were fascinating though!
Well i salvaged the dinner (ie got two new steak and kidney pies from freezer and fed bin with other slightly charred pies. during dinner had a rough add up of how much my ebay and amazon should come to, should be in region of £300 if all goes according to plan, nearly enough to get rid of the bloomin provident! looked at the car again, was just me being a nitwit, fears of £600 mechanics bill allied for now thank goodness!
Have had a nice bath and absolutely shattered, oh please oh please give me a good nights sleep!
Thanks postingalwaysposting remember you from last time, hope all going ok with you?
Kind wishes
p
xx:hello: :hello: :hello:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
hi pania, think i probably missed you last time around too. I think i might quietly do £500 challenge as not sure i have that much to sell, but thanks (think it was vanda) for play.com link as i have a drawer full of cds for dh to sort to get rid.
good luck with debt and oh,0 -
for sleeping - try lavender - i find it helps - at neals yard they do a spray, but think you can prob get lots of places, spray onto pillow or get some for a bath
nothing worse than that early morning wake up and then being ready to sleep as the alarm goes off - stress and depression can really do that to you - mind you so can thinking of drowning your oh i think!!! :rotfl:0 -
hey scaredy cat, thanks for the welcome back, have to admit was a tad scared of recriminations by reappearing, was even going to come back as a different name, but everyone has been so supportive!
Would love to have you on board for the £500 challenge, appears quite an excluisive club of three members right now, think i may struggle to but we could share ideas and get the motivation going?
i've got a similar debt free date to you on snowball so guess were in the same boat as it were! good luck to you to!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
it seems such a long way off!! but at mo can't see it being sooner - but am plugging away!!! i think for me its like peaks and troughs (sp??) and at mo am feeling v motivated as it really does need to be sorted
hmmm off to see what i can sell - thanks - just the motivation i needed to sort this ebay stuff!!0 -
thoughts of drowning OH alyed by him getting outta bath, no fun! only kidding, he drives me absolutely up the wall esp with money etc but i loves him... aaahhh:A
yes 60 months does feel a very long way off, we can cut it down from that i reckon, prob by 6 months to a year just by doing these challenges, quidco etc, we can do it scaredy lets go for it!
thanks for the hint re lavender, sadly i'm allergic to it and get all rashy:eek: trying to find a product that does a similar thing if anyone has any knowledge?
Had severe depression two years ago and it returned with a vengeance last year. recognising the signs in waking up during the night so trying to make sure i'm shattered before bed and have very little to disturb me.
think thats also the motivation behind this push to get it sorted, besides the pressure from the boss i've had enough of this hanging over my head, i just want rid of it!
ok scaredy and unixgirl, tomorrow it is, first one to £500 is the winner, the prize is having the pleasure of telling another creditor to put it in his pipe (plus a quick gesture flicked to my boss!):rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
OK, you've got me...I'll have a go at this £500 lark.
Lord knows what I'll find to sell....do stroppy teenagers fetch much nowadays? :eek:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
hmmm, possibly, think scientific research on grumpy hormones may give you a bit!! about £50 i'd say! oh dear, drowning boyfriends stroppy teenagers, we are in a mess!!
it's not only selling, can also use quidco et al or other means of money coming in that you don't usually get, (matched betting etc) except bank charge refunds!
Good luck whatatwit! not sure where the others are at mo, no ones posted today so far but got to take chain saw back for OH then launching my attack this avo! amazon won't know whats hit it!! ;-)debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Morning Pania, how are you? Wasn't on over weekend. I went diving out in Oz. Mostly Great Barrier Reef. It was great. Sold my fins, mask, snorkel, bootees, gloves, dive bag etc the bag got sold with the fins everything else sold separately. I've listed a few things on Amazon, will hunt for more tonight to list.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
