New clients all went well - I don't have many today so will be using it as an opportunity to recharge my batteries - I am tutoring all weekend so could do with a day off (sort of!).

Think I may visit a friend for :coffee:

I hope you have a good day - don't let Ebenezer get you down x

    Hi pania

    Grrrrrr about stupid boss

That Bank of Scotland letter sounds worryring to me, could it be a scam to try to get bank details out of you? I would advise NOT giving them your new bank details unless you're sure its genuine.

Blackangel, you could accidentally spill something onto Gordon's shirt so he HAS to change in front of you (sounds like there's no room for a camera anyway). Speaking of celebrity-undressing moments did anyone else see Bear Grylls wee on his tshirt in front of the camera?

    Pania,

If you are still having trouble sleeping try having a cup of valarian tea before you go to sleep (available from health food shops and some supermarkets) - I found that this really helped me when I went through a period of insomnia. It doesn't taste particularly nice but it makes you feel all drowsy.

    I hope this helps you

Just spoken to BoS, they paid it into my bl**dy abbey account!!!! grrr grrr grrr, nothing they can do apparently and abbey have happily accepted it and refusing to let me have it!!! just on phone to BoS again for a kick up the backside... £160 straight down the toilet!! BOO!! it is a genuine letter from my car loan i paid off when i crashed it.

thanks for the hint re the tea will pop to shop and give that a go. sleeping a little better with the weight off my shoulders, but OH is a very restless, and noisy sleeper (shhh don't tell him!) so it may help to keep him in the land of nod!

    Hi P

No news on Gordon yet, but I am dieting in readiness and cleaning our closet of a kitchen in case they surprise us. There is only 4 of us in the office and the other lady adores him as much as I and the other 2 men are mortified that a God could be visiting us and making them look inferior :rotfl: I will of course be spilling something on Gordon's top and his trousers :rotfl: we are nestling him nicely between the two of us in the kitchen - much like a Gordon Sandwich :T

Re letter from RBOS - what a bu**er, why couldn't they have just sent you a cheque - I hate banks. Can you not draw it out of the account? I am taking on the Fatwest and my account is still open and accessible - not that I would do that anyway!

Also P, the no sleeping I bought some detox patches that you put on your feet and they worked a treat, sleep like a baby - but that may be an unnecessary spend now "slap hands"

    Hope you day improves :coffee:

Gordon%20Ramsey-766398.jpgHi BA, A little image to swoon over, can't find how to make it smaller, hope i don't get shouted at by the lovely board peeps!!

anyway...BoS have now agreed to write to the abbey, tell them that it has been refunded in error and should never have been sent and get it back for me! he he :j may well take two weeks but atleast i know it's probably coming.

No sadly abbey have frozen my account due to ABUSE!! i never bloody abused it (pardon me) I went a couple of pounds overdrawn got charged, they took that charge putting me over again, forgot to cancel my direct debits after a phone call so every single one of them bounced incurring more charges and have denied all knowledge of ever receiving a phonecall!!
amazing how they can just abuse their power! back with the halifax now, love them their great:T (await hail of flaming arrows to be shot down with!)

Detox sticky feet pads, combine that with the tea OH'll have foot and mouth to go to bed with!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
They sound like a good idea but look yukky on the ads when you take them off! Right tea and foot pads on shopping list for today, thanks guys!!:T :T

Yay :j :j :j to the picture, I want it as my screensaver, where is it from???

Fab news about the Bank, so they do listen after all, what stage are you at with reclaiming charges? I have issued and they need to file AOS by Weds, so I bet they do it Tuesday - how I wished they'd just settled out of Court *sigh*

Off you go then, tea and detox patches...............

    hi pania

Hmmmm I've never gone for men in bow ties, I think we need to see a picture of Bear Grylls too...

darn I tried to post one and it wouldn't work!

How maddening about Abbey. I had a similar saga with NatWest last year when they reduced my overdraft limit without telling me. Luckily I persuaded them to refund the charges without going through the whole palaver. Good old BOS getting your money back though - let's hope it's not too long before the money is sitting in the right account.
