Hey P
Glad you don't feel so lonely anymore. I moved a lot when I was younger and I know how hard it is to make friends. I figure even if its cyber friends at least it's connection with other people.
Mo:beer: re virtual drinking me thinks............0 -
Thanks Black angel and thanks for the virtual drink! I think it's just moving so far and having no connection with the outside world, either through work or hobbies. have serously considered going home but i do love him. (Aw bless! i hear you say!) Thanks for the comments guys, and virtual converstaion is great, stops me going bonkers!! speaking of which have noticed a few signs of things not being quite right last couple of days. was in pub with OH last night, kept getting really anxious, heart rate shooting up tearful that sort of thing. Think is fact that i had a really nice payday, earnt some money on ebay but anxious it's not going to last the month and not used to controlling it quite this tightly so just repeating the emotive process of the last few paydays. MUST GET A GRIP *verbal slap*

Hi alwaysposting! thanks for the fab reply, just bought a tear to my eye. No wonder my house is a mess and i spend hours upon hours on the computer with lovely people like you about.
Think i'm only one left in the £500 challenge, not heard from the others in ages! But having it on my sig is keeping me focused. Dive gear went really well, gotta get it all sent out tomorrow, ouch at the postage!:p
Really glad i bit the bullet and got back on the wagon as it whizzed past me!
Hope things are going really well in your world, why going so fast? nothing bad i hope.:o
Loosing hope with the OH, sandwiches made, both eaten before 11am, went into town and bought a pot noodle for lunch!!! i suppose the effort was there:rotfl:
Grrr right back re boss! put me under sooooo much pressure! kinda thinking stuff it now though. I do my job, I do my job well. if they get rid of me is their loss. sleeping much better but possibly down to the valurian tea rather than de stressing! tastes bloomin horrible but really works! is so good to know i can look here for support, and hopefully likewise for others that need it from me to.
Have to admit made myself a celebratory cuppa when i realised had broken the £30k mark! but a virtual glass of wine very welcome! thanks posting for that!
OK id stays as it is then, Have a great day and thanks once again for the post

Running outta ebay stuff myself to, sold everything that isn't tied down or moving! resisting temptation to ebay the pony and the tropical fish or the spider living in my understairs cupboard but the temptation is hard to resist!!:rotfl: would ebay OH but think would get £2 for him so not financially viable!!:rotfl:
Where did you go on holiday? anywhere fun? this year is flying past can't believe it's June already. Have got a freebie holiday in tenerife in september (away for my big 3 0 thank god! get to avoid the obligatory family party!)
Thanks for the comment re work, working in finances i'm so restricted to what i can do with my debt, understandable really, To be honest i do the job as i know within next few months it will pay well, soon as i'm df will say stuff it and do something exciting like ambulance service instead, :j

Hi P,
You do sound like you are having some kind of anxiety but you are doing so well sticking to it. I was paid on Friday and usually I would run out and spend it and I haven't! I have spend a bit this weekend but it's on stuff we need as a family and I feel soooo guilty for spending it. I think I need to get it into perspective.
Like you I prefer a money obsessive to a spendaholic - DH wanted to get fruity last night but I said I was busy working out if I should put my change in the holiday pot from the unnecessary challenge or keep it in my purse :rotfl: talk about a killjoy!
Off to check whether my lemon drizzle cake is rising or not - yum yum - I'll send you some over x
p.s. Fab news on under £30k mark, well done!!0 -
Hi Blackangel, god you're good for a laugh!! Poor DH must've crawled off to bed with his tail between his legs after loosing out to loose change!! hope you put it right again;) he he
thats just lifted me up as was feeling p'd off. so thank you :T  OH gone out to meet his mates in town. asked if i could go to meet some people, suffice to say still sitting on sofa!! insert word that sounds a little like pass coupled with a hole in the ground and you may get what i called him. so just finishing reading through the posts then off for the company of a little pony for an hour or so
Am keeping an eye on the anxiety at the mo, have a great few hours then have a crap (pardon me) half hour, I just want someone to call and say hey lets go the gym or hey lets pop out for a coffee or just something like that, he's got mates as he can afford to go out and he has an interest that involves others and works in an office full of people. I run, i look after DP, i work from home, GAAAAH!!!
anyway, rant over, sorry for that BA, so how's the lemon drizzle cake coming? sounds tasty, looking forward to my virtual slice!
Good for you not spending your money! I've done the shopping so loads of food in the house (went to the bargain shelf was fab) most of bills paid, best mate repaid £50 i've owed her for like forever and a very very non DFW chinese saturday night! so alot more restrained than i would previously have been, esp with bills paid two days after payday!
Have read on your thread the things you've spent the money on and don't think you need to feel guilty at all. All quite justified, now had i been reading "bought a top cos i tried it on and loved it" then i'd be slapping your wrist for you!
Anyway have a great DFW afternoon BA and i'll have a cuppa with that slice o cake if thats ok!!:coffee:
Take care
