I could do with a challenge- am doing the olympic one but could do with a push! I want to get mine under 30000 by Christmas at the latest! Anyone close to that? Great that you could be there for hypno with hugs!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Hi pania
Is hypno's smiley what you're like with the maps? Love it! :rotfl: I'm very irritating at map reading: most of the time, I'm actually pretty good, and then occasionally I make really basic mistakes, which is really infurating for the driver cos he's learned to kind of trust what I say. Oops (and a bit of tee hee, tho its never funny at the time!).:rotfl:
Have a good one:T2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hey squirrel good to "see" you, how are things going? Another hang over? like ya style!! shall we set a mini october challenge to inspire us with the DFW ness? Let me know.
Morning P, yep I had another one of those 'I won't drink much' nights, which went downhill when I somehow got left with an entire bottle of wine to myself at the meal (it was pink fizzy stuff and disappeared very quickly)...Things are OK, feeling a bit restless and unsettled after my few days away, I think holidays do that to you sometimes?!
Mini challenge is a good plan, any ideas? My thoughts at the moment are just to spend as little as poss... although I do have a couple of big-ish things planned at weekends so will have to try to have minimal spend during the week.
Having said that, I'm just about to go and get dressed and head off to the farmers market! It will come out of grocery budget if I buy anything though....Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hi Girlies!! (and boys)
Must be quick, if OH catches me on here he'll lynch me!! ( big argument yesterday about lots of, erm, pent up annoyances on both sides, sadly, MSE was one of his!!! )
aaaanyway!! Hellllooooooooo Hypnoooooo!!!! hope you had a really good day,. inverted flips! blimey! i had enough trouble remaining upright!!
Fantastic news on DS doing so well yesterday, say welldone for me, if they're still awake of course!!:D
(ps, msg to Karma, the smiley icon was hypno trying to direct me to my clients house friday avo!! I still got lost!
well i have put all my appointments for this week into my phone, including a todo list which vibrates when i have scheduled to do something!! will be a bit like a washing machine on spin as it'll never blinking stop!!:rotfl:
We've been spring cleaning today, cars and kitchens... OH thinks he has a buyer for his car which will be absolutely fab news but drawback is we will be a one car partnership and i rely on mine so much for work, not to sure how it will work out but we'll see.just call me chauffeurP. However on the plus side, i've had stuff in my boot for the tip almost since we moved here in march, I went through it all again today prior to finally delivering it to said tip, and found loooooads of ebay fodder !:j (after i've paid my fees and had my account unbarred!!:o ) it's amazing isn't it that what we thought was unusable junk pre LBM has turned into precious treasure to raise money from :rotfl:
DO you turn the map upside down karma? thats apparently the way us women read maps as we have more practical minds, however men are more analytical so read them the right way up! (sorry to read you had a pants evening by the way, are you feeling better now?:grouphug:
Squizzel i KNOW those evenings SOOOOOO well. oh i'm not going to drink tonight turns into _party_ _pale_ :rudolf: very quickly!!!! sorry to hearing you're feeling a bit out of sorts, hugs to you to
SOOOOO chappies, what are we going to do for this challenge then?
Fishface, blackangel and i are racing each other to debt -4K by christmas, she's winning!! More than happy for you to join in with that if you like...
However, a mini month challenge, ok here goes. we can do either person to have paid most off their debt (overpayments only) or person thats got the most left out of their wages at the end of the month? or another first to £500? gosh i don't know, so many we can do!
Anyway i'd best get on with some work or else will get my botty kicked by the boss tomorrow.
:xmassign: everyone

Evening all
Thought I'd pop on, not had a very good DFW weekend "hangs head in shame" so need butt kicked and came here
We set out yesterday to replace deceased gerbil for DD (total cost £5) and return with an absolutely gorgeous black dwarf lop rabbit (like a black thumper) she is absolutely gorgeous - did I say that alreadyDS has officially adopted her and been kissing her all afternoon and declaring love for her (he's 3 and cute with it). We have decided however she needs a friend and are going to rehousing centre.
Good thing was that DD emptied moneybox for her and is rooting out things to sell to contribute towards cost of hutch etc, so teaching her how to look after a rabbit and raise money - she's doing good!!
Like the idea of your new phone P, glad you got your contract back to yourself. How's your running doing? I did a local fun run today and only 24 turned up :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: me and friend were going to disappear as we were slightly the worse for wear after vodka the previous evening (DFW style however) but decided to stick it out and do our best and I came 12th - most bizarre thing though, hope more turn out for North Run next week - 12!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Mortgage is due to complete on the 1st so thank you again, I can't wait :j
Am going to learn how to do spread betting now, signed up for mystery shopping, AQA etc (still not heard from either of them) and doing loads of questionnaires to raise some extra funds for xmas and debt.
Now I am going to retire to bed, and well done with the cleaning P - sounds very proactive! I decided to apply cif to my bathroom floor today and discovered the "patterns" on the tiles was in fact ground in grout and not "patterns" hmmmmm, only been there 2 years, the absolute shame. In fact my tiles were shiny cream and beautiful an I never knew :rotfl:
Ok enough of thread hijack - Night all
and MERRY CHRISTMAS0 -
howdy pardner how ya doing? backside kicking needed? ok backside kicking a go go! how DARE you go out, spend money enjoying yourself a WEEK, only a WEEK after doing it already and spending money on a blinking RABBIT you are SOOOOOO BAD and why ARE you darkening our DFW doorstep with your shameful confessions!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
good gosh woman you're allowed to live occasionally and having had a drunken blow out of a month there will be no botty kicking on this thread i'm afraid.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW at the bun bun, post a photo of her. I used to have a bunny that lived in my garden, bought him as a mid sized rabbit, yeah righto, shop had one over on me that day!! he grew mahoosive!! so sweet to think of DS doing that and DD helping with the hutch. Rehoming centre would be the way to go but get a guinea pig instead as sometimes bunnies fight. And G pigs are lovely....
Having some fun with the running right now, have got my birthday ipod so utilising that lots and OH and i are joining the gym this month. (no contract so can come and go else no chance!!)
welldone you with the running, i'll be up to your standard in no time i hope!!else i'll see you at the finishing line of the marathon, heard tell theres onl2 people registered for the north run next week, they were told of a vodka drinking crazy bunny lady from oop norf and all pulled out as they knew you'd win.:D
Excellent news re the mortgage, you got in just in time before the rates went up even higher!!:T
anyway sweet dreams and happy new year!!!:rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Happy, er, what??? :eek::rotfl:
I like the idea of the 'how much have you got left at the end of the month' challenge, I got paid on Friday so my 'month' started then, although don't have a realistic figure of how much I've got 'left' until direct debits come out on the 1st. Am doing the £500 in four months challenge but have been a bit naughty and borrowed some of what I had raised (although it was for essential stuff)so I could do with making some back towards that - so, in short, I want to have as much left in my bank account by the end of the month as I can, and it'll then go into my savings account as part of the £500 challenge.. does that make sense?!
So, er, yeah if you fancy a challenge, does your month run to normal calendar month or a funny date like mine?
Good stuff on the car and the ebaying. And thanks for the hug.. am back at work tomorrow with a week's worth of work waiting for me so I probably (hopefully) won't have time to stop and think!
Have a nice night xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
