Morning one and all and sorry for not updating recently, got loooooads going on hasn't been ointentional i promise, Just about to get to work so green light MUST be off most of the day!!
Well, I Went for the extension to the welcome loan and am going to keep the money to pay off provi on a monthly basis as they ain't gonna give me any discount whatsoever.. grrrr!! also so that i can cancel my £120 overdraft and have my account permanently in the black, that would be a nice feeling...
Hopefully got a nice payday coming up so expect those overpayments to start imminently! Yay!
Had probs with OH last night as my job involves me working quite a few evenings a week, which i detest and so does he, He doesn't want me to do it anymore but is part and parcel of my job so i have to. It's so hard to argue over it as i'm firmly in his camp to, think i need to strike a work/life balance and agree maybe to a max of 2 or 3 evenings per week, and leave my phone off for business calls on the evenings in.
Totally totally snowed under at the mo and just seem totally unable to catch up. I think i need to have a word with my boss and ask him to back off on the appointments for a week. Also badly need to book some time off as i'm knackered!!
Is great to read so many peoples diaries and see how everyone is doing even if i don't get chance to post.
DP is getting a friend soon to. I've been asked to foster ponies for a charity, the nervous or slightly bad behaved ones to get them over their little issues so that they can be rehomed to good homes. I've said one at a time though! I know that my little fella will be a great influence on them and i get free company for him! win win all round that one!! So generally feeling very positive right now and things going not to bad at all.
Big hugs xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hi P :hello: I think the idea of allocating 2 or 3 evenings a week for work is a good one. Provided you stick with it!!
Are there any evenings that are better for you - eg when OH is doing something so that you won't be "missed" so much?
Good to hear that you are feeling positive though re pony etc. Have a good day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Ey up... glad to hear you've got the loan thing sorted out and good news about the overpayments. Hope you manage to get yourself a break from work sorted out, sounds like you need it... would you like me to do some for you, I'm really bored this week :rotfl: Oh well, it means lots of time on here which is much needed in terms of inspiration and keeping on track...
Have a good one xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hi there one and all how are you all? Well i've had a bit of time away form it all, still at home, still working, just got very very depressed for a while, absolutely no idea other than tiredness but i'm sure other sufferers out there know that these things jump up to bite us on the donkey when we least expect it.
gladly episodes like this are getting fewer and further between but just occasionally.....debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

ok, back from a phonecall so had to quickly post before loosing, shall carry on no. What is it with clients calling at all hours of the day and night?! That was a client calling at 8pm!!! Had a text the other day at 0810 from a client who laughed when i told him that I had just got up! grrr. and a call at 2145 the other evening! do these people just not care or am i a resource not a human!
So over the last few weeks i have mostly been... doing ok actually.
I did opt for the small extension to the loan after all, have managed to pay off my mobile phone bill (not telloing cos i'll get my wrist slapped) but as i have to use it for work it is mahoosive! and have also cleared my final remaining mouldy bills, so all my money at the end of the month is mine and able to be overpaid on the debt! wohoo!
DP is doing good and is fat as butter bless him. started working with him to shift both of ours weight!
Work has calmed down slightly which has given me some breathing space, allowed me to sleep and catch up a little. Am so excited as the mortgage offers start coming through that i'm going to be able to make a dent in my debts, but am also going to allow myself a little fun to start with as not had proper fun in 2 1/2 years....
Speaking of which is my 30th birthday beginning of september and oh's much younger birthday the week after, i have some time off work and OH has decided rather than a pressie he'd like to go to alton towers! wahoo! out comes the reduced price alton towers tickets, (Thanks snoopy) very DFW but we shall go and for once have a great time and worry about it later, i think maybe we deserve it. Will make it as DFW as poss ie picnic, drinks etc so not paying there extortionate prices but if we fancy an ice cream we shall have one.

Sounds pretty ok to me - you will get no arguments from me about having icecream if you want it
Have you got rid of the provi loan now? If so, you need to update your sig.
Thanks for the tip about the cheapy hairdressers - I rang them yesterday and have got my name on the "list of poor people going grey" :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. aaaaaargggghhhh!!! just posted the last bit to the sermon according to Pania and it's blinking wiped it!! booger!very strangely and quite unlike me it was actually quite witty, darn it!!
anyhoo, just going to allocate a final hour o work and then off to bed for an early night, got to take a friend to heathrow in the morning and have to be up at half 3!! eep!!
Hiya hypno!! got loads and loads done today thanks hun and sorry for standing you up earlier, Work has eased off lately which has given me chance to catch up on work and sleep, and relax a little about things.
My debt has gone up a bit and i'm not even that phased to tell the truth, these things can be dealt with, there is a lot more things far more important than money and i guess that is a lesson i have learnt lately, health, family, friends and those you care about (yes DP you are included) occasionaly smacks you on the head, gives you the doyoyoyoyoyoink moment like your head being smcked with a hammer inside a metal bell and makes you wake up to the fact that sometimes to accept a situation as it is, to embrace it and look at it and make something of it is more important than being scared of a situation and turning away from it in fear.
or in other words....
Don't be scared until you know there is something to be scared of, and once you know there is something to be scared off, work out the best direction in which to run like hell!!! he he.
sorry for going all silophosical on you, just how i'm feeling i guess!!!
My training debt from my old employer has started to be enforced which means that i have to increase my debt by £1658 but is interest free and £50 Pm has been allocated towards it, to be over paid where possible. I even feel a new signature coming on, watch this space!!! really nice to be back posting again. sorry for hiding, just felt i needed to.
anyway take care and lots of hugs, P xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
yup me to!! We''ll need to take a bottle of wine if we go on the same night, those hairdressers are going to think the stars are in!! he he
(hint to all east anglia girlies, hairdresser doing a very good models night deal for cut and colours. If you want to join the "poor people going grey" list send me a PM and i'll give you details!) do you know i found 4 the other day!! GAH!!
Nope provi loan not gone, they weren' going to give m any discount what so ever bar stewards so it can stay and stuff them!! money has gone to much better use by getting my old mouldy overheads gone which caused me so much grief, just on the regular outgoings now. yay!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
