hi squirrel!! it sounds like one apple has a low acidity level and the other has a high acidity level, one group eats low the other eats high. They then test for affect on the heart, immunity etc. Think they provide the apples! :-)

    Hi P,

Just read through your thread billy no mates - glad to see you're back on the 'net. I don't think I could do the apples things, I've had the same apple on my desk since last week and its still untouched

Been so busy with work and naughty/mad people I hardly find any time to get on the board and do MB - so am making an exerted effort to do it tonight.

And guess what................I got my mortgage offer :j :j :j :j House came in an extra £15k than I thought  and they accepted DH's future salary - thank you so much for your help you kicked me where it was needed :T :T

OH MY GOD BA thats amazing hon, that went through bloomin quick!! good to hear from you, missed our chats. Hows life love and the world then? am watching most haunted while filling out applications and MSEing. i female, i multi task!! OH and i all loved up again thank god, in fact we have a dilemma.

Been to look at new build houses today, 5% deposit paid, stamp duty paid, 500 squid towards legals and fully fitted carpets throughout. Mortgage payments around £740 pm, may have a lodger for a while in shape of OH's bessie mate. With curent commitments will be very tight but had the idea that we can have mortgage at £740, then settle all my debts and secure a loan for £20k on top for £230 per month. total outgoing on my side 970 pm as opposed to 1095 that i'm paying at the mo for rent and debts. credit rating is shot but not so bad that we can't get a reasonable interest rate on the mortgage. Just a very scarey prospect. I think it's a good idea but i need to know if i'm being stupid and living in a pipe dream or not.

Hi P, ok I am half asleep/still drunk/fattened with food but will attempt a sensible reply (due to Hypno I updated diary and explanation is there :D )

The only thing I am confused on is how you will have the secure loan on top? Is this pre-arranged or something you are hoping to do after?

Am not sure what to suggest, but maybe you should do a SOA as if you owned the house, i.e. gas/electricity, council tax, life insurance, home insurance etc etc and compare it to your SOA now. Would you and OH's money be lumped in together now or not? It does sound very exciting, I think you might just need to put it down in writing the true cost of it all and then see how you feel. If it still looks good then the only thing is to think whether it would be better to pay debts off rather than consolidate?

I don't think you are living a pipe dream, just being sensible thinking it through x

Be v careful Pania - have a look at the house buying thread. The builders are not giving you '5% deposit paid, stamp duty paid, 500 squid towards legals and fully fitted carpets throughout' - the cost of all those is added in to their price. If you need to move in 2 or 3 yrs (never know what the future holds ) you could find yourself in a negative equity situation. Far better to plough on, pay your debts then save for a deposit with a perfect (by then!) credit rating.

Sorry - depressing I know. New houses nice & shiny......
