    Morning All

Hope you are all well, there will be no windows getting opened at my house today (I am at paid stuff) but itis blowing a hoolie here. The wind kept wakening me last night as well as the thunder(actually DH snoring) :rotfl: he will have a sore back this morning, don’t know how many times I dunted him!! ;) Didn’t get the iron out last night, had to go get some shopping & then I started on the kitchen at 7.30 last night. Also cleared & cleaned dining table, TV unit, TV & all light switches (now chrome so they are very easy marked) Will need to bring the iron out tonight, my aunt has asked me to take up a hem on 2 pairs curtains:eek: I like to press them first before stitching. I don’t need to do any deep cleaning in LR hall or stairs, all newly decorated & de-cluttered & my sister will be getting my sofa when my new one arrives (hopefully by end May) so it will be given a quick clean before she gets it. Going to try get a wee read back on Fred.

    Morning

Bright, sunny, and blowing a hooley here this morning. WM already on but not sure if I should risk putting it out whilst I go to work as there seems to be a good chance it will blow away! - decisions, decisions.

Bossy - great news re DS's school choice - I remember those anxious days waiting for the confirmation.

Skint - You've done loads - well done, but remember not to do too much!

We all slept in this morning - 8.30  - was quite a rush getting the kids out the door with breakfast on the go, packed lunches made and appropriate sports kits for after school clubs, but somehow each child reached school by 8.55. I didn't break the speed limit, honest :o

Off to shower now before the paid stuff.

    Extras for me:
    [STRIKE]Collect desserts from supplier[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Pay wages into bank
    [STRIKE]Pay electricity bill[/STRIKE]

    Clean windows and sills
treat the pets for fleas!!! This is prime time for them to be developing an infestation.. the last thing you need in your house! (still not done mine.. bad me!)

Deep clean challenge day one.. I do not want anyone straining themselves so if this is too much or not sensible because you'll hurt yourself don't do it!! Listen to your body.
Empty the cupboards and clean the entire insides, start with the worst cupboard!!.. shelves, everything.
Get rid of the chipped plates etc.. the chipped parts harbour germs of disgusting proportions as the pottery but it porous they have lots of places to hide.. revolting.. get rid!
[STRIKE]Figure out what needs using up first and work it into your meal plan this week![/STRIKE]
Clear clutter from shelves and wipe them over.. I want to see empty spaces and shiny shelves!!

Bedrooms tidied and DS3's dusted. Just taking a cuppa upto Dust the HSL and S&S sinks and loos wilst WM1 finishes. Promised DS1 I'd take him out to practice driving at 10:30. We can stop at MrA for me to return something and to teach him how to put petrol in a car.

  • Wow! You flyladys are inspirational. I live alone and find it really hard to motivate myself to clean. I am out of the flat every night this week after work so i'll have a quick clean on the weekend, but I shall be joining you all next week. This may be just the motivation I was looking for!! :)
