I always try and correct buyer's details where they've done the aforementioned, but I'm nit a particularly high volume seller
On another note, I do quite enjoy people's reactions when telling companies, who I can't particularly be bothered with, my postcode over the phone, e.g. (random postcode) I would say RG1 8AJ as 'R-G-Eighteen... A-J'

I write envelopes by hand, so it's not so much of an issue, but I do find they are less easy to read than properly formatted ones, and you have to think about where the space comes in the postcode.
However, a special place in hell is reserved for those who can't work out they need to supply a HOUSE NUMBER with the street (I even have had one which was just name, town and postcode) or people who address me as sweetie in a message.
Oh, and people who ignore the delivery estimate and method on the listing page, buy and pay for an item and then send a message saying "I need this by tomorrow, can you send it first class today please" - had this one at 11.30am on 22nd December as they wanted it for a present for Christmas (23rd was a Sunday)
Finally, people who leave a note saying "please dispatch ASAP" - well, glad you said that, as if you hadn't, I might not have got round to posting it until next week.0 -
I had noticed the amount of xxx on emails too!
Also get a fair few saying thanks hun/babe/chick etc
I have had many issues with customers not putting house numbers on ( we cannot check each parcels address) and blaming me for them not getting it
obviously my psychic powers of mind reading are failing me somewhat!!!0 -
I had one just after Christmas who responded to my 'item sent this morning' email with a note asking me to send it to his mothers address instead as he wouldn't be in to take delivery at his own address.

I surprisingly get a fair few of those. "Please send to my new address", when only one address is listed. Not sure how I'm supposed to know any other address. One customer gave me a full story of why something was going to the address they had listed, it was a very interesting and unnecessary story.I had one just after Christmas who responded to my 'item sent this morning' email with a note asking me to send it to his mothers address instead as he wouldn't be in to take delivery at his own address.

The lower case letter thing could quite easily be resolved if Ebay and Amazon (which also often has lower case letters) did something about it. I used to make sure they were all capitalised where they should be when we printed them off but it became too cumbersome.
There are some software programs that will take the Ebay names and addresses and put them onto labels correctly for you. I tried one for a bit, but the way it was set up made it more difficult for us..0
