Is it just me or does anyone else find it annoying when buyers have entered their name and address details in ALL lower case?!
I've just spent the best part of the day prepping items to post on Monday and I have had to manually amend at least 75% of the address labels before buying and printing them via eBay!
Postcodes are the worst.... dr23xd (not a real postcode by the way)
When did people stop using the correct case and spaces?!
Aaaarrrgggghhhh! Rant over lol

Yes it does annoy me too.
I also get annoyed when, as has happened three times now, buyers have made nasty little remarks to me when they get their parcel pointing out that I have spelt their name, or part of their address wrong. Impolite of me yes, but since I print the name and addresses from their PayPal account it is hardly my fault the spelling is wrong!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I know what you mean...I once had an email from a buyer complaining that I had amended her name on the postage label - it was in eBay/PayPal as Smith Alison (again not real example) so I changed it the other way around for the label...I just thought I was using common sense but perhaps I won't bother in future!
I don't know how much of a difference, if any, it really does make when going through the postal system in all lower case but I just can't bring myself to send out items with a postage label looking like its been put together by a small child!0 -
I find it annoying and more than half of buyers seem to only use lower case letters. I ony change the postcode letters now to uppercase as it becomes very boring changing every letter.0

My details come from Paypal so I only had to type my name and address once.
It does annoy me when I'm on my phone and I have to enter details as it's too much work to capitalise words!

I think I'll be doing the same in future! I must've spent at least an additional 45 minutes today on just changing names and addresses to the correct case!0 -
If you think that's bad, one of my buyers had this -
(I've changed the name and address to protect their identity
)
JohnSmith JohnSmithJ

It took me a while to figure out who and where to send it to! How can people mess up a simple thing as entering their address and name so much?!0 -
I'll stick my head up above the parapet to own up to that one at times.

I wouldn't dream of doing it when writing letters etc. but because I enter lots of on-line competitions which I'm unlikely to win, it doesn't matter what details I put in, and it's quicker when autofill doesn't work to just type without bothering about whether it's upper or lower case. So the majority of forms I fill in online are probably all lower case, and then it gets to be a habit which I do without thinking.
Which is a bit hypocritical as it does bug me in RL if people don't write properly.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
