    Hiya

Today I spent £5 on lottery tickets and £4 in the £ shop so my total is £41.86/£50.00.

I will have to pay for 2 weeks at SW on Monday as I didn't make it this week, but I will still have next week's budget at £50.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone

  • Afternoon everyone

Well a NSD for me today so declaring £108.80 / £110 so just sneaked a green week in. :D although could really have done with not spending quite so much as i only have £80 to last until payday on 30th. and also GOT to reign it in as worked the pennies out for the next year, with mat leave and it doesn't look pretty towards the 10th-12th month, which is no pay.

Anyway have set up the new thread but it wont post a link at the mo, but hope to see you all over there.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for posting late but I've been away for the weekend. My budget was £15. I spent over that :( - £20.77, including 2 lunches and a dinner out (not sure how to deal with the fact that meeting friends inevitably involves spending money), but I made £15 if I'm allowed to count my £10 Sainsbury's voucher from Valued Opinions (the other £5 was from a research study), so if I have done the maths correctly I am in credit by £9.23 :)
  • Hi LocalAngel

I don't want to put you off the challenge, but I think you are still green for the week.

My understanding of making money and being orange is that you have to be in plus money at the end of the week. However as you spent £20.77 and only made £15 back you have still spent. Whereas if you'd spent £15 but made £20 you would still have £5 in your pocket and orange.

    Hope that makes sense. :D
