  • Spends so far -

    Sun - NSD :j

Do need to get some bits but seeing if I can hold off until tomorrow when I'm spending on lunch anyway.

And was reminded that I am being taken out for tea tonight, so better take some pennies for the drinks just in case. Is it wrong not to want to go, partly because I'm being lazy and partly because I don't want to spend any money. :D

eta - I did actually have a nice evening, and didn't cost me anything.

Will def be a spend day tomorrow, have got a friend visiting, we'll be going for lunch, then into town. However before all that happens I've got housework and some bits to get from the shop. Not enough hours in the day.

    Quick update:

    Sun - NSD
    Mon - NSD

Definite spendy day tomorrow - but at least it's planned.

ETO - I know what you mean about not wanting to go places in case you spend too much. Just as well we're all very sociable on here - I'm at risk of having no real-life friends left if this frugal living continues much longer :money:

  • Another £5 today topping up childs oyster card.... pattern emerging here :)

2 good things though - ended up at a conference with free lunch and resisted urge to buy chocolate on way home so in total so far £8.78/£100. Still need to fill up tank though so that will jump up soon!

However it's all gone a bit wrong today....

Tues - £14 lunch (budgeted £20) £40 petrol (budgeted £40) so not so bad, however... £42.71 groceries (budgeted £25) oooops.

This includes contact lens solution (not cheap, but not bought often) couple of fabric softeners (on offer) air freshener refill, gaviscon (suffering terribly at mo) and a few things that needed topping up before bab gets here.

So heading for a red week as I am out for lunch tomorrow and cannot see where else I can reduce spends. Definite tight week next week.

Well done prettyplease on resisting the chocolate.

MissE001 - good job I have got people on here to offload to as not many in real life get my obsession with money. :D
