Managed £16/£20 last week. This week will have a lot of NSD's from Tuesday, but need to do shopping today to include a 9-nsd-in-a-row challenge eeeeeek.
So, £30 for me please, most of which should be spent today on food for the next couple of weeks
Oooo good luck with NSD challenge. Don't think I could ever do that, there's always something I need.Casperthefriendlyghost wrote: »Hi everyone!
Shiny new thread! Thanks ETO and congratulations on becoming debt free! Can't wait for the day I can say that too!
This week I'd like to pledge £ 10.00 again. Unfortunately my weekend away has had to be postponed until May due to work commitments, disappointing but as I'm self employed it's great to have the work!
Have a great low/no spend week everyone! and a great Sunday.
Cheers
Casper
xx
Thanks casper and shame about your weekend away, but I guess you have to take the work when it's there.
Have a good week.abundant1972 wrote: »Hi All,
Sorry for my absence - I've been really out the loop. That said - have been sticking within budget so Yay! You're lessons are paying off!!!
My planned budget for W/C 14/04/13 = £40.00
Good luck everyone!!!
I was wondering where you'd got to.names tend to stick in my head as I set the thread up each week and noticed we hadn't 'seen' you for a while.
Well done for staying in your budget though.
NSD for me so far. Hoping to keep it that way, especially as I haven't withdrawn my budget yet.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Got enough dinner for evenings already so didn't need to buy much. Picked up 4 packs of ham (co-op are running a 2 for £2 on cold meats but the saving isn't that great, about 70p total, so... meh, but hey still a saving).
That's something of a money saving tip by the way - sometimes it's better to pick up multiples of smaller packs that are on offer because a) they can often work out cheap then the large packs and b) unopened packs last longer in your fridge. Always worth considering.
Froze a loaf of bread, bought extra crisps. Couldn't find yoghurts that would last long enough so picked up some mousse things on offer for £1 which are good until the 24th.
Bag of apples - couldn't distinguish between the bag of "gala" vs the bag of "value" so I went for the value, saved me 50p.
£16/£30 so far, will buy some wine tomorrow which needs to last me until the 24th...Debt free, moved, got new stuff for the new flat - got everything I wanted and need - now just saving.0 -
Hi everyone,
My budget for the week is £15. That might have to include a lunch out (luckily I have enough stamps on my loyalty card for a free bowl of noodles) and dinner at home for a friend, so it could be a tough week.

Well done ETO on becoming debt free!!!! Amazing!
I managed a green week last week - total £2.89/£5.00
Going for £10 this week. I have 2 weeks til pay day and only £50 left but I don't want to spend it all just be issue it's their (my usual policy!!)0 -
ETO thank you for running this thread and congratulations on becoming debt free.
Last week I spent all of my £5 but not a penny more, we took the children to the local cinema and they'd put the prices up, making it cheaper to go to some of the other cinemas in the area even when you factor in the price of petrol.
This week I would like to spend no more than £5Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
