it's the same as the old postal applications - you put in your choices and see what you get - but you know in minutes rather than weeks...0 -
Anyone been to pendine sands in south wales? We managed to get 3 nights start of the school hols in july.:D
It's well placed for tenby, saundersfoot and oakwood theme park and has a beach close by.
I'm thinking of not getting the entertainment passes. Not bothered about using the pool, but wondered if they are required for access to the other facilities on site. Anyone know?
Just priced it up on their website at £376 if bookong direct:eek:
Also going to another Parkdean in a couple of weeks with friends booked in the last round of hols.
Anyone been to sandford in dorset?
Got the ent passes for the kids, but not the adults. They are 12 and 13 and can go to the pool by themselves.
What's the pool complex like for anyone whose been?0 -

they always charge more for the entertainment passes on site, so buying earlier is better
I've personally never been asked for passes at the pools etc, and going into the entertainments during the day has always been the same, the usually have security from baout 6pm asking for them.
They are certainly not too expensive
But the latest trick I've encountered is you have to buy for the whole party or none ! so if its 2 of you and obviously you have to book min 4 you have to pay for 4.
The only place I would say for the passes is Butlins as they offer so much.
I can't answer about those parks as I haven't been there ... sorryproud to be a young stroke survivor0 -

Thanks. I've not encountered this yet. Perhaps it's particular to certain companies. Been to three parkdean parks in the last two years, and was always able to just order passes for the kids and not the adults!
I"ve found that we tend to just use the park as a base for exploring the area now, and for general relaxing.
Also in general, older and teenage children (at least my dd and friends) are not overly impressed with many of the site pools as they are not all action super duper with slides and shutes, lol, but are more low key and aimed at younger children, although devon cliffs and ruda in croyde were good!
Think we will make use of the beach which is close by, weather permitting, and use the money we would have spent on the passes for tickets to Oakwood.:)0 -

Yes I have always had a priority code in the past but didn't get one this time, I just thought the booking system online would be the same where you get to see your choices. Never mind, I'll try the Butlins trick
if you do not receive a priority code next time, you email / call and they give you one0 -
