posted up-to-date list above. Hope everyone is feeling OK. I have got terrible pains under my ribs this morning which i think will only get worse - 35 weeks now so i suppose it is only to be expected.

Sorry it's so lazy to quote but what she said!!!!!! Thank goodness you are both ok Choc! Will post again later as off to get my hair cut. Had a four hour bout of braxton hicks last night, two of which I could hardly move and were right the way up my back, so another back labour in store methinks! Was going to call the hospital after some almost constant ones but it died off eventually. Staggered off to Boots this morning to buy a tens (if you hire they only do from week 37 and sods law won't last that long so am buying one and selling it on cheap (if anybody after 25th Feb would like one at cheaper than hire rate!) which works out cheaper in the long run than ordering one that I miss using at all! So that will arrive tomorrow. Rembembered to buy arnica as well. There are new boots nappies offers and also online 500 points free too.
Will be back later - oh and congrats to newbies too!

Hi 3KIDSNOMONEY and miss_be. I will watch my internet spending no fear! Woke up this morning after going to bed at 8.15pm and just decided that there was no way I could go into work. I had late nights at the beginning of the week as I organised a conference for 150 people and was rushing about the conference centre from the crack of sparrows everyday sorting things out. Am soooo tired! Have been surfing the net all morning entering competitions. I won some tickets for a craft exhibition at the Brighton centre which I would love to go to but its the weekend I am having my baby shower.

My baby shower has come about thanks to alot of peer pressure. People a) want to meet each other (sisters, aunts, mums from either side of the family) get fed and check out our new flat. Luckily it has made everyone clear out their lofts etc... so I am going to be getting clothes a baby sling and a cot in the next few days.

Anyone else having a baby shower?

Congratulations on the births!

I am experiencing two firsts this week - hiccups (sprog's) and heartburn (mine). Can't quite get it into my head that I'm 27 weeks tomorrow...

Can I please be added to the EDD list - 25th April? Thanks!

OMG choc that must have been such a shock for it to all happen like that! am so glad you both are well.

thanks for all the congratulations and am planning my first venture out the house tom with DD to take her to toddlers as she is climbing the walls being stuck inside!

Hi, I am new to the forum and also to "maternity world", quite lost about what a newborn might need, although very aware that they don't come cheap. As I start building my shopping list with the essentials it will be great to learn some tips on how to save a few quid from more experienced mums.
