On a slightly happier note (although i think CG may be happy enough with her earlier statement) my adoption might just be back on. Same child, same dates, same everything. It was off for a while, but all appears to be back on - its been the most stressful time ever!

I am at Panel on Wednesday and I shall get to know the outcome there and then its pobably all systems go again for 22nd October.

    SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats great news Ophie, I have everything crossed for you (well, where it is physically possible!).

  • Congratulations, Renstar! :j send some early vibes my way, please? :D

    Welcome Purplegirl and ginvzt :hello:

And Ophie - how lovely to hear, I'll be keeping everything crossed too.

I have had a show, been to the loo a lot (sorry!) and my back is a bit achey - think my bump has dropped more too, which would explain the bladder-as-trampoline feelings I've had over the weekend. But I will be 10 days over, I know I will.
  • Trampoline feelings, are you on the same trampoline as my wife?

  • Ophie thats fantastic! i will cross everything (but my legs) for you, hope it all goes well this time :T and yes i know exactly what got me in this condition! and i cant wait to do it again properly minus this maHOOsive bump that keeps getting in the way! lol

Joe_Millionaire - im horny, hormonal and hippopotamus HUGE! and i never said i wanted to have babies with any of them.... just knacker them out a bit ;)

Shelvis - everytime you post i feel we have more and more in common :D

ginvzt - good luck and i hope to see you graduate to the big scary list really soon, i was a 'pee on a stick' addict and needed lots of inexpensive ones so i got my preg tests from ebay, just the little blue and white strips... as they are just whats inside of the more expensive ones anyway, i think my ebay seller was called something like 'fertility friend' very cheap and very fast postage, and i got a VERY VERY faint positive about a week before my period was due, was so faint it almost wasnt there though... could only be seen in a certain light after it had dried out! after a few more days and a lot more tests when i was pretty sure we were definitely onto something i splashed out (pun intended) on a clearblue digital.

sorry if i upset anyone with a near christmas/new year birthday baby, but if your aware its a hard time of year for a birthday then maybe you will make a special effort and your bubs will never notice! (and if you dont make an effort then we will come round and poo on your door step! so...umm.... NEERRR!!!)

Congrats Ophie, hope the adoption goes through for you.:j

As for me, i'm still here, no show or anything, i'm sitting writing this almost in tears....mornings are the worst for me, i feel so down. I'm now 10 days overdue, and the thought of being induced depresses me even more. I'm really sorry, i don't want to get any one else as down as me, i have honestly tried everything. Floodgates have opened now. Gonna have to go, don't want the kids seeing me like this.

Both David AND Richard would so get it. Yes at the same time if available.....My fave has got to be Dec (from Ant and Dec!) though given the choice. I have fancied him for 16 years (sad i know).

Yup, I would agree with this too. And John Barrowman! Obviously I just fancy everybody indiscriminately! Though living in the northeast and being the same age as Declan Donnelly I think it is against the law not to like him. (Ant doesn't do it for me though  - think because he's not as naughty as Dec)

I also sort of agree on not wantiing your baby in December. DD is a December baby and it seems as if everything happens at once then nothing for a year. Also she hates it as DS is a July baby and we often go on holiday around his birthday and I get lots of "Why don't we ever go away / go to a theme park / go to the beach / have a barbecue on my birthday?" (Umm, because it's freezing?), though we did once surprise her with a trip to Lapland.

Baby number three is due in January - when we already have zillions of family birthdays (though at least I can buy presents in the sales - very MSE! Or miserly!)

CG!!! You shouldn't be thinking about things like that in your condition - can you not remember what got you there in the first place???

On a slightly happier note (although i think CG may be happy enough with her earlier statement) my adoption might just be back on. Same child, same dates, same everything. It was off for a while, but all appears to be back on - its been the most stressful time ever!

Excellent news. Fingers crossed for you!

jojo - im sorry you feel so crap, i know how you feel and im not even over due...i could cry most days because i want this over so much (and then feel worse for being so selfish when i really dont have that much longer to go)
if i was getting any real sleep, i think i could cope with everything else....
i know you know this and it probably wont help... but you really cant go for much longer... even if it is induction... at least thats the end! and in a matter of days you will be holding that gorgeous bundle, gloating to us and feeling much better xXx

meanwhile in CG-land, my DD is off school today, she was throwing up last night and has been perched over the sick bowl since (although there has been nothing since 9pm)
isnt it weird how i have been ridiculously squeamish all the way through this pregnancy, anything and everything has made me sick.... but when its one of your own being ill it doesnt affect you at all! it must be that mothering instinct showing its face at last!

hope everyone is feeling as ok as possible, and that today might be the day we hear from Septober
