Jototheb-congratulations to you both!!!:j glad to see boys have arrived safe and sound. Lovely names and great weights too. (seems we both frequent the same forums-tamba and mse!!)

How far along did you get to in the end 37/38? I am at hosp tomorrow (36wks) and desperately hoping to get my date for c.section for either 37/38wks. (had 2 previous sections, so have no choice in the delivery route).

Nice to see that you both look so well after the arrival of the boys, looking forward to hearing more about how to cope with twins!!! Please pass on any top tips, ha ha!

sorry to hear about all those having a carp time but i thought i would cheer u all up and tell u that i'm having a carp time 2.
been told i'm suffering from SPD @ 25 weeks. went out 2day 2 mothercare to get me 1 of those marternity support belts and the !!!!!!s didn't have my size, looked all around the shops in vain hope that some1 would do them but nothing, so went bk 2 my car and cried. then 2 top it all my brakes r acting up on the car so no driving that til i've worked out wot the hell is going on.
i'm also doing a collage course 2 learn sage on tuesdays evenings and this is the last thing i need. i'm in pain all the bloody time, hurts to getting in and out of chairs, cough, laugh(not that i'm doing much of this right now), get up the stairs and fart (or bum bum burp as my toddler calls it). so in all i have this going on 4 the next 15 or so weeks. oh ain't life grand lol

congratts 2 the posh (joke) jtotheb and their portland babies lol. i would visit but i'm 350 odd miles away so send me best instead.

jojo there's only 1 thing i can say that might help in some small way.

well, i have decided that maternity leave is s*** - i have had a week off and i have been soooo busy. at least when i was working i had time to read the forum but couldnt post, yesterday i didnt get a chance to read it at all!!:eek: outrageous!!
fac - i have to say i dont really feel you are playing fairly in the race for the first mid october baby, i cant believe you have had a show!! i havent even had any BHs yet.
and while i am having a bit of a moan, why have i missed out on all the vivid dreams everyone is talking about??? although to be honest i wouldnt thank you for richard hammond (i have an ex that looks just like him!) or david tennant. now did someone mentione matt damon - that is more like it (a bit small though)

Sorry to those who are feeling a bit ropey. I am ok but have the heartburn from hell. At least DS is ok now, he gets growth spurts where he's all kicking, tantrums and disobedience (and stutters really badly) and then comes out the other side as an angel. Wasnt' really up for it this time, what with the tiredness, hormones, backache (he's big for 3 and to wrangle) and the bereavement my family have been dealing with I've been a bit all over the place. Am bargain hunting to distract myself a bit, and a well as winning my stairgate, managed to get a nearly new £70 mothercare crib on Ebay yesterday for £15! I'd have to buy the mattress on top either way so have saved £55, so nearly £80 in total so far. Have found the buggy I want so can get £20 off if I get it in Babies R Us, so am aiming to save enough to make the buggy free! Well it keeps me busy anyway. Am looking forward to my next scan (4th - bubs does love those awkward positions so am getting my money's worth there) on Thursday too.

any news from September Baby or have I missed it?

lolololol ;0) that would be me - been a MD lust fiend since I got pregnant - and like CG said it doesn't matter how tall they r when u r horizontal!

- just started my maternity leave too and reading the boards is a way of getting rest in between bouts of home birth prep. as seems I've developed SPD (at 38 weeks go figure!)

Just met with the HV today ...obviously I've started to miss mixing with grown ups already as I'm sure I spotted her checking her watch while I was chatting away.......will have to get out there soon- BF group friday...oh the fun us mums have!

Hello.

I've added myself to the EDD list. I am 19 weeks pregnant with our first baby. We have just moved to Cambridgeshire from London and because of being 19 weeks pregnant I can't get a job. Rent is huge so trying to buy a house. Desperately seeking ways of saving money on all aspects of life.
Went to and NCT nearly new sale on saturday and got some real bargins for pregnancy and a good quality secondhand moses basket.

Anybody got any other tips?
