So i still haven't gone. I've had a really crap few days. Woke up really early yesterday morning with the most painful contraction I have had so far, lasted 90 odd seconds. I couldn't then get back to sleep and no more arrived so I got up at 5:30, this is the middle of the night for me and I didn't know there were 2 in the day!! DH decided I needed some looking after and took a days holiday, which meant I was able to leave the house as I've given up driving as don't feel safe and worried that if I go out by myself and contractions kick in again I won't be able to drive home, (especially after I managed to drop the iron on the carpet when a contraction caught me unawares on Wednesday - nice iron shaped burn in the cream carpet now).

I saw the MW yesterday all set for a sweep and she refused to do it, saying it was policy to only do them when you are 7 days over, I shouldn't have been told on Tuesday I would get one and they have to be done at home or the hospital. After pinning all my hopes on having one (however much I don't actually want one, I'm just so fed up with being in pain and not sleeping properly, I NEED one), I've now got to wait until Monday (which only actually puts me 4 days over). I got really upset and bawled for most of the afternoon yesterday - bloody hormones!!

I'm also getting really fed up of people asking if we've had it yet (especially one of DH work colleagues (he's a mobile engineer) who has only been working there a few months and seems to have adopted DH as his new best friend - he only lives up the road and texts or calls every day (weekends included) to "see if there's any news"). I know people are excited for us, but it just "rubs" it in that I've been waiting 2 weeks already because we were so convinced it was coming early and now I'm over due (ok only one day but still) I could still have another 2 weeks to wait. MW said they'd book me in for an induction on 15 August if I have no baby by then.

Not quite sure how to edit list and add myself on it, (not technically minded at all), but would like to be added on to your list.

I am expecting twin boys (non identical), offically due nov 7th, but due to 2 previous c.sections have been advised will be a section at around 37-37weeks (mid oct).

Am 26wks currently, but womb measures 37wks (larger due to twins) and believe you me, i feel 37wks in all respects!!!:rotfl: Am achy,tired and struggling to meet the demands of my 5+3yr old boys already!!
Have started trying to be moneysaving by stocking up on nappies each week in advance!
