Valentine and Janine
Hope all moves forward quickly for you both as well!!! It is so frustrating waiting, but even more so when overdue and wanting a home birth.
Keeping all crossed for you both!!

Here are lots and lots and lots of labour vibes for you.
And maybe some :j :j :j would help (DH not you).
Fingers crossed. Surely we will have to have a baby today ! Maybe 3 ?0 -
Hi all
I have designed the book to be specifically attractive to children allow them to feel in control of the changes happening around them.
You're probably not aware of this, but at the top of every MSE page it says "Don't post links for personal gain. Except in the referrers section and always declare any interest." The great thing about this site is that there are no adverts and nobody tries to sell us anything - so I'm afraid your post is against the rules.
Please feel free to post this in the Referrers section, and enjoy the site.0 -
my friend had her baby boy!! 12 days late - weighing in at 9lb 12 ouuuuuuuuucccchhhhhhhhh0

Congrats to your friend emma_b. I weighed just less than that when I was born and my mum still mentions it all the time, and I'm 32.
(Gosh I haven't written down my age for a while...EEEK I'm ancient!!!!)
If my mum had big babies, does that mean I'm more likely to?:A I can fly :A0 -
I'm sure this is all over some distant part of the website, but nestle products have vouchers on them for free sports activities such as swimming, golf, tennis badminton, football, martial arts, squash and dance.
At my local pool a swim costs £4, but a big packet of fruit pastilles costs about 50p.
So for a few weeks im going to stuff my face with sweets and then when my matenity leave starts, i'm going to go swimming every day for free and hopefully become one of those yummy mummies you hear about.
also, for those of us who are slightly overripe, i hear nipple tweaking is supposed to bring on labour. at least it is something you can do whilst on MSE!:j Baby bonce was born on Christmas morning after a ridiculously short labour and no pain relief! If only losing the baby weight was as easy!:T0 -

I went swimming twice a week for a few weeks and it was great. Unfortunately, now that the schools are out, there's no chance of a nice relaxing swim anymore so I've stopped going.
I'm having a very hormonal day today - everything is annoying me! Went for a haircut, and it doesn't look right even though I told her several times I wanted it shorter. Then got called fat by a woman at DS's nursery - I told her I still had another month to go and she said she thought I was due a lot sooner. Cheers for that then, I obviously look like a big fat bloater who's about to explode.
What is it that makes people say things like that to pregnant women, do they not stop to think it's rude?0 -
I'm finding this too! I started with smaller maternity sizes just for comfort in the earlier months. I then graduated to my actual size - which meant stuff went round the bump, but unattractively loose underneath it (thank goodness for long smock tops). I now have...out of a huge selection aquired off Ebay and carboots... one pair of trousers that is comfortable. And I am not a dress person due to ugly legs and there's only so much you can wear with trainers . I dread to think what I'll be wearing by the end of the pregnancy . But it seems it will not be human clothes
.
Yes this was my problem too, I'm now 6 months pregnant and just had a top up of new clothes from IO and Crave. I do some car booting as well. I always buy 1 size more knowing that I can grow into it over the next couple of months, depends on your shape I guess. I like the quality of Crave's clothes the best, and their affordable. Crave sent me an offer code by email 'summer' I entered it in the basket page and that saved me 10% off my purchase. Though I would share that with you... :T www.cravematernity.co.uk
You know this is my second child, but I found that even after birth I still wore a lot of my pregnancy clothes
