    Thanks.

Back to the same problems we had a few months ago by the sound of it. I'll have to use the other computer to send you emails from now on.

Just asking how you have been!!

I am so much better now, and looking forward to meeting my little one, which is great!! Counting down the days like you, and wondering with each twinge!!! :p So you are not alone!!!

    Thankyou!

they showed us a birthing ball last night are they expensive?
mine was about £15 on Amazon but you can get them cheaper (ones called 'birthing balls' are much more expensive) - just make sure it's an antiburst one not all the ones in the supermarkets are.

urggh I really thought I had done with the sickness but last night was up all night vomiting. i think actually rather than my PG related sickness (that seemed to stop 2 weeks ago) this is pain related as I had the worst migraine EVER and my eyes were killing me. I didn't take any tablets as in my experience paracetamol is useless at migraine anyway but the cold flannel just wasnt up to the job!

nearly 17 weeks now isn't this supposed to be the good bit :D
I had a night like that at one point in my pregnancy as my neck went into spasm. I was howling in pain and throwing up and got OH to phone NHS direct (who didn't answer in 40 minutes) so we then phoned our out of hours GP service and spoke to a Dr at the hospital who said I could take ibuprofen - I'm not sure that it's a good idea long term in pregnancy but at that point it was better for both me and the baby to take it...

Well girls I'm still here and very fed up. I had 5 hours of contractions yesterday and then they stopped. and other than a few twinges throughout the rest of the day absolutely nothing. Both me and DH are shattered as I didn't sleep very well last night and every time I got up for the toilet DH woke up to check I was ok.

The thing that is concerning me the most is I have a week before my due date and I could then still be 2 weeks over which means I might have another 3 weeks to go, which is an eternity. I feel like crying. I was so convinced it was goingt to happen yesterday. :(

I am 6 days overdue now and very fed up so I sympathise - it gets worse I'm sorry to say!

    I am fed up of:-

*people ringing to check we haven't forgotten to tell them we've had a baby (close family etc)
*peeing all the time and a dribble coming out
*wondering all the time with every twinge - is this it?
*an endless round of s*x (not easy!), curry, pineapple etc
*not being able to turn over in bed or get out of bed without super human effort
    *heartburn and acid reflux
*wondering WHEN I'm going to finally have my baby!

...I feel more stressed as we are planning a home birth so on a real deadline now. Please, please keep your fingers crossed for us that it happens soon. I had a sweep on Tuesday and I'm on my way, but just hoping I keep going the right way and don't stop dilating all together!

Love to you all and your bumps
