It makes the badges even more pointless than before
They have become a lot more pointless since the new version of the forum came in.
They are not displayed near the posters names when you are browsing threads.

Hi all
By the nature of the badges they're awarded manually by the three us (with a bit of extra help here and there) and they do get missed sometimes when something else comes up eg spam.
If you got a mention in the weekly email but haven't received a badge just pop a post here to give us a boot up the backside
The same goes with other badges - if you've posted all the info you need to give on a relevant thread and haven't had the badge just pop a note here to let us know
Getting badges back under usernames in the new Forum skin is in the pipeline and should be live soon.
