Surveyor anger!

I'm really annoyed: My mortgage provider enlisted a surveyor for me for the purchase of my new home, and due to being over £100 less than a homebuyer's report, I requested a valuation; it's a newish property (1970s), and having had some building expert friends look at it, there were no obvious problems. @askasurveyor after my initial anger at not being contacted after reassurance that I would be, I'm actually surprised at the level of service and detail provided. The surveyor called me and spent a good 20 minutes going through the issues. Would have saved some time if I'd been able to go along at the beginning, but I'm now just pleased that items were identified so I could get further investigation.

Please respond to mine and others' posts with courtesy and kindness- and I will not deliberately disrespect you. Down with the trolls!
