i've just been to my local tesco express and they had a delivery of 7 boxes of quit packs. don't know how many packs in a box but i guess quite a few, the ladies behind the counter were moaning that they didn't need any more as they already had loads. I thought as i went out i should have offered to take a box off their hands but i didn't want them to get suspicious!! i could have also been super kind and shared that MSE secrets !!0

off topic but have you joined the baby club? you could pretend you're having a baby on the same day that they are. i just saw an ad in a baby mag for a huggies 'baby beginnings basket' which you get free if you buy newborn size 1 nappies, you need the coupon for getting it free - they say they send it to you if you sign up during pregnancy or with a baby under 2 months old.
the baby club vouchers will probably contain a points voucher for buying the huggies (they only cost around £3 anyway, and the free basket says it's worth £11.63), and more points for buying pampers, huggies wipes etc. and i think you also get a voucher for 250 points if you spend £10 on baby stuff, so you can use that at the same time as you buy the nappies and wipes etc - loads of points!
the basket looks nice, it contains a full pack of baby wipes, a little teddy bear, money off coupons, balsam tissues, a baby record book and some bedtime powder which i assume is lavendar scented talc.
it's not free but a good points combination would make it as good as free if that makes sense!'bad mothers club' member 13

I also had problems with healthcare because our store is so little the range was minimal. But in a big store though it was easy to spend £8.
My first couple of healthcare £8 shops I stocked up the first aid cupboard and I also made sure I had some basics in the car glove pocket and the kids first aid kit for scout trips. A lot of things are £1 or under, various plasters, bandages, antiseptic wipes, pain killers, calamile lotion, throat tablets etc.
On later £8 shops I tended to get lots of samll things plus one larger item ie over £3 so if any of my coupons were refused I had a bigger value item to get a refund on
MaryThanks for everyones tips, I managed to get loads of the quit kits and also a few of the H&B ones too but can anyone advise what I can buy under healthcare to use my vouchers, especially any BOGOFs so I don't spend as much - not sure what falls into this category.
Many Thanks“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Can you get these using the healthcare coupons? I queried it at the pharmacy yesterday and he said it didn't work, but I am sure I have read somewhere it does.
Any comments appreciated.

Edited my post: Hadn't heard of this offer before but it is mentioned on the Tesco Baby Club sign-up page. http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/btc/ I am really tempted by the sound of this, even though I have already signed up. Might try phoning Clubcard helpline and seeing if I can try my luck and get this freebie as an existing member. (Baby isn't due for another month so I do fall under the less than two month remit)
Tesco Parenting Club offers tend to be extra points coupons rather than actual freebies. Their coupons are really good and can be combined to maximise the benefits.
(For example; yesterday I earned nearly 1000 points in a £70 shop. I used a 250 points voucher for spending over £10 on baby products and bought two packs of nappies and two packs of wipes on BOGOF. I used a 200 bonus coupon for both packs of nappies and 100 points for both packs of wipes. I also used manufacturers' coupons for all the baby products as I had genuinely bought the items.)
Anyway - to keep this post vaguely health & beauty related, I managed to pick up a couple of the new Quit Packs instore yesterday so am back on the Tesco H&B trail!
