I was feeling brave again this morning - although the young guy who served me the other day wasn't there, I chose to pay at a normal till (as opposed to the SS tills) I was served by a youngish lady who I didn't think would take many vouchers, but I was wrong. She took quite a few, which I'm very pleased about. I just handed over a wad of vouchers and asked her to take what she could. She did reject quite a few of them and would only let me use one of each of the quit and h&b vouchers, but she took loads of little MOC's and a slightly out of date (3 days to be exact) 1.00mag MOC and another harpers MOC. She was going to reject the Harpers MOC cos' it wouldn't scan, but I asked her nicely to try keying in the code.0

The colgate ones will scan against Tesco own toothpaste. I bought a 51p tube of kids toothpaste and it accepted the voucher no probs.

Please can someone explain this to me
If I read this right Misseypootle took 4x shower gels to the checkout and used 1 coupon for £1.25 off and paid only 95p ???
Is this right.
I am going to Tesco tonight (again) and if this is right I might have to stock up !!!
I am also going to see if I can get some more of the new quit kits. If anyone is having a problem locating them let me know and I will see if I can get you some.
Thank you

I think she bought the small bottles of sanex on BOGOF. I remember someone saying the till takes off the cost of a large bottle. Would love to try this myself but my local store doesn't stock the small bottles.0 -

Yes, I was having problems until I went to a much larger Tescos and I realised that the reason i was having so much trouble choosing items for an £8 healthcare spend or a £10 beauty and toiletry was that out small store has so little to choose from and I had to buy the same things over and over. In the big stores it is like being let loose in a sweet shop :rotfl:
So I went to a big store on Wednesday and did both £8/£10 as part of my main shop. I then went off to the other shops, did the rest of the shopping and came back to Tesco and did another £8/£10 and added in some plants from the plant stall. So I used two sets of both coupons.
Today I went to another store, usually accepts only one coupon per transaction but I used the self scanners did the £8 first and when the scanner beeped for authorisation i told the supervisor I had bought the products and it was no problem. Bit later I did the £10 one with a few bits, same happened, told the lady I had bought the prodcuts and used tesco coupons, again no problem, all coupons accepted, 95p for one shop and £3 odd for the other.
I noticed that the second store had masses of nice toiletry items and sets that would be suitable as presents eg, raffle prizes, end of the year teachers gifts, even Christmas presents if you can think that far ahead. There really is masses to choose from.
Yes it is nice using the BOGOFs and using the excess coupons to get money off your other shoppiing but I already have quite a coupon pile of ordinary coupons and I would rather add a few of these to my coupon pile. If I dont use these up they will go out of date.

PS My lad went to scouts last nice with a huge shoe box full of first aid kit, my contribution for the forthcoming summer camp, all thanks to the generosity of Mr TFor anyone looking for something different to use the healthcare vouchers on, tonight I got
2 x Optrex Brightening Drops £2.93 (bogof)
1 x Scholl Rough Skin Remover £2.59
Total to pay £8.45 - £2.93 (bogof) = £5.52
Used both £2 vouchers from new and new new quits and 2 x £1 peach
Also had Scholl cracked heel repair cream for the same price.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Drat, I've been buying the simple handwash on BOGOF and I should have been buying sanex on BOGOF instead. Just wondering wether its worth trying for a refund, perhaps on a receipt where I've bought two simple handwashes and another big item over £4.
Seem to have to do a refund everytime I go into Tesco these days...
