  • Yes they would have taken the coupon off like cash(and you could of used multiple regardless of spending, go back if you can you've got till midnight ;) ), and they've never come out like this before, always had to buy clothing, they come out quite regular, hopefully they'll be some new ones again soon, as many stores got these ones. The main thing with the clothing coupons (like H&B) you can use different barcoded coupons together, this is how you end up with free or near free items
Ta,I can't drive&I think OH would faint!!!I'd nick the car but its BSM :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ...am just going to ring me mother, wish me luck!!!x:D

For anyone looking for something different to use the healthcare vouchers on, tonight I got
    2 x Optrex Brightening Drops £2.93 (bogof)
    1 x Scholl Rough Skin Remover £2.59
    Total to pay £8.45 - £2.93 (bogof) = £5.52
Used both £2 vouchers from new and new new quits and 2 x £1 peach

Also had Scholl cracked heel repair cream for the same price.

I had 2 great shops today, after not being able to Tesco yesterday due to a Royal visit I went today.

I bought 8 slimfast and some of the simple soaps together with some john frieda sachets 98p ones.

2nd shop - 8 slimfast and some fructis shampoo and addidas sprays.

Now during DS's swimming lessons I suggested to another Mum that as my DS and her DD share the same birthday why don't we do a joint birthday. She suggested that we pay 50% each and go shopping together. Anyway, not wanting to face embarassment at the till (eg if my vouchers were refused) I volunteered to do all the food/party shopping myself.

End result was enough party food, balloons, plates, dishes, drinks etc for the whole school class came to just £7.50 so had a bargain shop there. I used a couple of the £6 moc's that expired today thanks Dawn and my one shop total was down to less than £6 so I had one left over and kicked myself that it hadn't been used.

I don't tend to add up the value of my shopping as I go along and then think I have X amount to come off - because from experience it really depends on the SA. I budgeted what I thought was a reasonable amount for the party stuff and the vouchers coming off was a great bonus but something I realised wasn't going to be a dead certainty.

I forgot to say whilst using my card to buy a newspaper I had two till spits one for 100 points wys £10 at Tesco direct and one for 100 points wyb any tampax - it appears Mr T now even knows when I need that particular item !

So will be using my till spit and vouchers together to get money off and points combined.

Was not in a good mood this evening as I knew I had to buy a bunch of party stuff, and had a headache coupled with working a late shift, but off I went anyway.

Saw my lovely SA was on (although she is sometime ish!) split shops into two, very boring though! Sorry!

    2 x Always ultra (£2.99 each) 2 for £4
    2 x Aquafresh (£2.99 each) BOGOF
    = Total (after discounts) £6.99

Used: £2.50HB, £1.25 old qk, £1.25 new qk, £1 hb, £2.80 worth of MOC to make up short fall of not having any so beautiful!! I know I could have used another £1 and another £1.25 qk, but hate handing over too many! Also got a till spit for Alpro soya yoghurt which is going straight on my swaps! (and tesco direct desk till spit, but confused about that one!)

    Second shop:

2 x Kids vitamins (omega ones) £.4.49 (BOGOF)
Total after discount, errrrrrr....... £4.49! LOL
Used: £2 old qk, £2 new qk, £1 qk, 150 points wys over £7 on healthcare and £1.80 of MOC, so was very pleased, and another till spit for the yoghurt too!! SA was very chatty and was going through stuff with a new SA and explaining about vouchers etc, it was VERY Interesting! Looks as though they don't get proper training at all, and that it's the SA's that train newbie SA's!

Hopefully I will get some so beautifuls so I can maximise on the current vouchers going! Wanna stock up on the always deal.

I actually found some H&B vouchers tonight.. the first I have seen in ages.

There is a display stand in one of the aisles with So Beautiful [only ever a few], allergy leaflets and sun cream info...

So why then were the H&B leaflets hidden away under some hayfever voucher sheets in an out-of-the-way part of the pharmacy counter? I only spotted them when grabbing a couple of Quit Packs and its the first time I've seen them there. A conspiracy theorist might think our local Mr T didn't want these vouchers being used.. lol.

Its fair to say my total tonight was nicely reduced by more than expected..:D

Slimfast is BOGOF at the moment.

    8 slimfast @ £1.19 = £9.52

After the BOGOF that leaves £4.76

SA permitting, you can use the £2 off £8 from your Quit ALSO 2 x £1 from your H & B, leaving you the 76p to pay.

Can anyone tell me what these Slimfast things taste like please?

I don't need to lose weight but want to maintain and these might make an alternative lunch for me.. especially at 76p :D

They are OK, but I try to avoid when I can. They can also, er, give you the runs if your body is not happy about the invasion

I have a couple of cans at work from the last promo, and to be honest, aside from when my wisdom tooth was giving me so much pain that I couldn't eat, that was the only time I drank them.

Went to a new store last night and found loads of £1 off Ambi pur rim blocks just sitting on the CS desk begging to be given a nice new home :D

Expiry date of 02/07/07 and has a 99 bar code.

It does say on it though only to be used in Tesco on the Ambi Pur.

Is it likely to work in Tesco against other things or even in Asda etc against anything either?
