    Hi all

I have been doing shops for the usual free toiletries and am now also using at the same time Healthcare 2 x £1 peach and 1 x £2 QK
The healthcare I have bought is 4 x £1.98 scholl footspray plus 14p aspirin
Hopefully my house will be sweetsmelling for a considerable time

PS Just got a cheque in excess of £500 from my bank regarding unfair bank charges. If you haven't started to claim it back, please do it!! See my post on Clydesdale bank thread

Thanks so much Mary, thats loads of help!!....like Dotchas I am new to all this and was totally confused!! :D (Especially after I had a go last week and got it drastically wrong...I handed over some vouchers but hadnt spent enough on toiletries to qualify using them apparently???? I thought you could use them regardless of what you bought :o ).
I have got 2 x £1 off toiletries and 1 x £1.25 off toiletries, so I shall have another go at all this later. Bootsing might be taking a back seat for a while if I ever get the hang of Tescoing :rotfl:

The health and beauty ones are only valid until Sunday (?) so everyone is trying to use them up ASAP. After that all we will have are the £1.25 ones so it will be just a case of getting the best BOGOF offer for what you actually need so your original spend is over £5 and handing over the one coupon. If you are just under add some cotton wook, tampons or cheap tesco value toiletry range to top it up. Much simplier to do the maths.

Of course if you have a few other odd small value coupons you might want to also try these to add to the coupon pile you could include things like bread, milk, yoghurt, few essentials etc.

Mind you if any more coupons appear the madness will start all over again!

    Hi Everyone:hello:

I am a regular on the Boots thread but have been directed over here!
    I was looking for handwash!
I am keen to join in but its all so confusing!

Do I look for vouchers in store to get started?
Some simple tips to get started would be welcome:beer:

And if anyone on this thread hasn't visted the Boots one ,its well worth a visit, though the glitches aren't too great at the mo!

    Hi Dotchas,

I wandered over here from the boots thread a couple of months back and find this way more addictive than Boots! In fact I didn't even go on the Boots thread for a few weeks which I never would have thought possible a few months back!

Just to add on from what mhoc said.... you can actually get the handwash for almost free if you have a combination of vouchers. All is explained on page one.... read it a few times over but to give you an example using the handwash and current coupons:

imperial leather handwash £1.48 each BOGOF
    8 x 1.48 = £11.84 but you pay £5.92 after BOGOF
use 1 x £2.50 off a £10 toiletry and beauty shop from pink H&B sheets
use 2 x £1.25 off a £5 health and beauty shop from quit packs

which would be £5 off a £5.92 spend for 8 handwashes. There is also a £1 off a £4-5? spend on toiletries on the pink H&B sheet and you could throw in a couple of these aswell which would take the additional money off your groceries.

All depending on SA of course.... as with Boots, best to choose a young Saturday lad that doesn't care and to mix your coupons up so they you don't have the same one in a row!

Unfortunately the pink H&B coupons expire this w/e so its unlikely that you'll get any and I'm all out so i can't offer you any!

Hope that helps and doesn't confuse you even more!

Hi & welcome! I was told by a very nice supervisor that if the cashier takes too many h&b/clothing coupons on 1 transaction, the store would not get their money back from the clearing house. What is the clearing house, is this true?
Most of the members on here are aware that the coupon acceptance policy varies from store to store, cashier to cashier. However I still can't see the cashier getting into trouble for over scanning after my experience w/e just gone. One of my lads took over the till that I had lined up 6 transactions on the belt of h&b, coupons already sorted. Was gutted that he was serving me, had intentions! I gave him a pile of coupons which included £6.00 out of date ones & I asked for them back, told him they were out of date, but he still scanned them for me! Why would he do this?

Maybe he was leaving or changing departments!

Feeling sad that its over, but looks as though my recent couponing days are over....coupons gone,

Went out early this morning, came back with well over a hundred items, got rid of 3 loads with lots of little touches in between, and funnily enough it was a CS that took the "loads".........

Unfortunately i knew last night it was going to end today, so as the day went on, the urge sadly got less

Had the odd failure, put that down to circumstances, but generally a very enjoyable experience but sad at end of day that its over....over that is ..............maybe just until more coupons arrive from "the source"

Might be about 9 weeks(when Hols are over)

Also paid for my dinner, and incidentals using moc's
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Good luck to the person who found my other bag...if theyre on here.....oops given todays chosen area away if they are

And what a nice area it was, sunny as well, went out in shorts, got nettle stings though..........you'd think i'd been rolling around in the grass....not releiving Mr T of his goods.
