    Hi Everyone:hello:

I am a regular on the Boots thread but have been directed over here!
    I was looking for handwash!
I am keen to join in but its all so confusing!

Do I look for vouchers in store to get started?
Some simple tips to get started would be welcome:beer:

And if anyone on this thread hasn't visted the Boots one ,its well worth a visit, though the glitches aren't too great at the mo!

OK firstly you have to find some coupons. The holy grail ones are called health and Beauty and have 50 pointers for a £2 spend and £1 for a toal spend of £4 on toiletry spend plus also a £2.50 spend on a £10 h and b spend.

More likely you are able to find the new Quit packs which come in a blue envelope and can be found in tesco petrol stations, on shelves in the h and b department and on customer service desks.
Inside you will find a £1.25 coupon off a £5 beauty and toiletry spend. Here is what I got on Wednesday

4 bottle of imperial leather handwash at £1.48 each, total £5.92. These are on BOGOF so what you actually pay is less £2.96. I took my 4 bottles to the till and handed over my £1.25 coupon. The till recognises the ammount in total before BOGOF and therefore the £1.25 is taken off leaving you just £1.46 to pay for 4 bottles - a bargain.
    Hope this is clear

Hi Dotchas, yes you should have some coupons before you start, have a wander round a few times. Do you have a club card? It,s another world on here but you should get the hang of it as your so good at bootsing

Thanks so much Mary, thats loads of help!!....like Dotchas I am new to all this and was totally confused!! :D (Especially after I had a go last week and got it drastically wrong...I handed over some vouchers but hadnt spent enough on toiletries to qualify using them apparently???? I thought you could use them regardless of what you bought :o ).
I have got 2 x £1 off toiletries and 1 x £1.25 off toiletries, so I shall have another go at all this later. Bootsing might be taking a back seat for a while if I ever get the hang of Tescoing :rotfl:

basically there was a fault with some cans of impulse so they have been recalled due to safety issues. I checked mine and 50 of mine were affected so I phoned up gave them the bar codes and times and they confirmed mine were in the faulty batch. Which meant that I received reimbursement for my items 50 x £2 vouchers and the impulse cans will have to be binned.

They are getting Impulse vouchers because the Impulse they bought earlier in the year at Tesco, have been recalled as the cans are faulty.

I was too late for the Impulse but I live in hope that they recall sanex handwash...:rotfl:

Hey Dude, I remember now! It was McDonag who first started spending "used" Tesco vouchers in Sainsbury's. My apologies for accusing you of being brilliant biggrin.gif
