welll.. ur till number stores all the vouchers you have put through so you dont do a till lift after you have finished working on that till and are swapping over, but if u have put a voucher through twice or taken a voucher that we dont accept then you are usually called up on it on your next shift and reminded of the rules. As for the vouchers themselves i think that cash office send them off to the different companies in order to claim the money back.

hope thats answered ur questions :-)

    McDonag....is that you?

thanks. so the cash office will collect all coupons at certain time of the day to match them up with the record in till? i have heard that sa handed back coupons to couponer after scanning them, to allow the couponer reuse them next time, and it doesn't seem the sa has any trouble afterwards. strange.

Today, I was reminded as to why I do the h&b thing .......... I converted £13.75 of tesco vouchers into deal vouchers = £55 (worth 4 times as much)

Then I ordered deal vouchers for Harry Ramsdens and Techniquest (local science museum) so can now treat my family to a day out for a very small cash outlay.

I had stopped getting the toiletries and discovered new boxes of quit vouchers in store, I was rather restrained and only picked up 2 envelopes. The vouchers expire in October so when I type new I mean they weren't there b4.

When I got home, I had pampers vouchers, huggies vouchers and 50 x £2 impulse vouchers which I am pleased to see can be used on any unilever brand.

Hi & welcome! I was told by a very nice supervisor that if the cashier takes too many h&b/clothing coupons on 1 transaction, the store would not get their money back from the clearing house. What is the clearing house, is this true?
Most of the members on here are aware that the coupon acceptance policy varies from store to store, cashier to cashier. However I still can't see the cashier getting into trouble for over scanning after my experience w/e just gone. One of my lads took over the till that I had lined up 6 transactions on the belt of h&b, coupons already sorted. Was gutted that he was serving me, had intentions! I gave him a pile of coupons which included £6.00 out of date ones & I asked for them back, told him they were out of date, but he still scanned them for me! Why would he do this?

The one and only time I lined up 3 lots of shopping in 1 go, the sa [think she may have been a supervisor] asked if I intended using coupons again when I got to the 3rd lot. I smiled sweetly and said yes if that was ok.. told her it was for my step-daughter who I also pick up shopping for, and who gave me her coupons. She said she would do it.. "On this occasion" with the implication that it was a big no no..

Thanks for everyones input on the fructis, not good stuff then! Cashier told me it's actually being discontinued, gone for good, change of bottle I do not know.
But with 120 bottles of it I've been inspired to do a carboot sale (Wish the rain would stop though!)
Tressemes really good for my hair, & it lasts for ages.

Can't beleive the only coupons in sight were quits, really geared myself up for a new coupon release. However I did make the most out of my couponing & enjoyed it as always.

RE Impulse vouchers - they are now sending out £2 vouchers instead of £3 ones which I believe they were sending out originally. They said they are also keeping a close eye on ebay as it is an offence to offer them for sale to a 3rd party.

I ended up with a bundle of £2 coupons from the Impulse people and 2x £5 ones. Am keeping them for when I run out of my other coupons and will spend the £5 ones on Saturdays I think.

Got some more H&B and Healthcare items today. Split into 2 shops with groceries each time. Today's policy was that Tesco vouchers were ok if you had purchased the item (shopping got scrutinized), but all other MOCs were a nono unless you had bought the EXACT item. So free toiletries but no other money off today, boohoo. Even the cheddar cheese on offer was not the right one apparently to use the 30p Pilgrim coupon against from one of the weeklies. Will avoid this SA next time! Still, the wipes glitch gave me some discount off other stuff I suppose ;) .

Three more days to go... :rotfl:
