I doubt we'll learn anything from the McCann's. They'll probably say that there not allowed to discuss the details leading up to her disappearance. No doubt we'll hear a lot about their forthcoming European tour, and a plug for people to donate more money. Me a cynic? Let's wait and see.......

Have they been able to check the building area where she may have fallen into? I know they said the areas were covered in with concrete 2 days later but is there a way they can check with equipment etc?

What's wrong with having the roving service if your kids are 14?
Clearly not the case with the Macanns but I don't see that this service and the hotel are automatically bad in ALL cases.

Can you tell me which countries law applies in this case?
Have they commited an offfence under Portugese law?

No-one has actually answered this yet.

Morally I agree it was neglect.
I don't yet agree that they have committed any offence for which they can face charges.

If you are in a foreign country and they allow children in pub or to smoke at a different age then I believe they have to abide by the laws in THAT country.

I would be happy to be corrected by an international lawyer, but until we do get that information then I think some of you may be incorrect regarding the law.
