Madeleine's Fund : Leaving No Stone Unturned

The really unpleasant bit of this is the way the story is being used to sell tabloid newspapers and magazines - this is world wide too. There is a great deal of extremely exploitative coverage: not the fault of the parents, but very distasteful indeed.
And you do ask just how much practical use the showing of a film during a football match is to helping with anything about this.0 -

How could anyone feel comfortable saying those things about 2 people who have lost their daughter?
It actually makes me feel sick. It is inhumane to wish further suffering on someone who is about as low as they could possibly get.
so why do other (common) parents get slated for leaving there kids?
like if i went to the shop and left my kids and one was taken, i would be getting no end of greif from the police/social services/public, and you know it.No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

I personally wouldnt say something about anyone, on here, or otherwise, unless I would say it to the person themselves.
If your child was taken, no matter who you were, or where you were from, I would feel devastated for you. My concern would be that you were reunited with your child. I would not feel quailfied to judge you on your actions because I do not know you and I would not know the situations behind what you had done.
And I certainly would not suggest that you cried more than you were, or that you should sell your possessions in order to fund the search for your child.0 -

I would say it to them - why are we pretending what they did is okay? they need to know surely??
Take something like this case from last year: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/5304742.stm
I don't know the outcome, whether he was guilty or not, but this poor guy has lost his wife AND his three kids, he must be really upset, never mind its his fault cos he murdered them, we should leave him alone and let him grieve, don't you think??Lets just support him, we won't tell him what he did was wrong in case we make him cry....
Or is his face not as media friendly as the McCanns which doesn't make you feel so sorry for him???Official DFW Nerd 2100 -

The parents are behind the film showings and the longer the daughter is in the media the better for them. As soon as she isn't then people start to forget and talk about something else.
They need the publics help if they are to find her.Regards,
Dave
If only I had a pound for every time I used the thanks button0 -

Your joking right?
What has a man murdering his wife and kids (looks like they died from head injuries), got to do with the McCanns?
And no, I wouldnt have judged him until I knew whether he was guilty or not.0 -

No not joking, it was his fault they died, its the McCanns fault that Madeleine was put at risk, if she dies then its their fault too, which I would class as involuntary manslaughter i.e:
"Involuntary manslaughter, sometimes called criminally negligent homicide in the United States or culpable homicide in Scotland, occurs where there is no intention to kill or cause serious injury but death is due to recklnessness or criminal negligence."

Er... just in case they dont realise and might do it again?
YES!! That is exactly what I am suggesting, because they dont think that what they did was wrong!! Honestly, if they see no wrong in it then they may well do it again, thats my point, no-one has told them it was wrong and they still continue to insist it was okay! They can't understand it was a wrong thing to do if they think it was ok? No??Official DFW Nerd 2100 -

Who said that they dont think they did wrong????
They are probably torturing themselves every second!!! How can you possibly know what someone else is thinking???0
